The VT-4 isn’t getting added in the next update.
Thailand has a VT-4, if they want to add a Thai VT-4 they will just put it in the Japanese tree because Japan and Thailand are basically a shared tech tree nation.
Besides that it is just a video game.
Exactly
On top of that, how many other vehicles are already being shared across tech trees between nations that don’t view each other favorably
Fair, maybe I am not understanding complicated histories and political problems in East Asia.
Well… my point is…
If you guys sold VT-4 to Thailand.
And Thailand officially became a sub-branch of Japan.
You guys can’t stop including them in the japanese tree since Thailand became a sub-tree of Japan.
Unlike the attempt of SK to JP case, which became officially cancelled before the announcement.
What I believe you guys can try is different tactics.
- Get a promise from Gaijin that China gets VT-4 first. Obviously faster than Thailand.
- Buy as many times as you can to delay the release of the Thailand version of VT-4, and enjoy the privilege of the original nation.
Also, I googled about September 3rd means to the Chinese. Yeah. It would be better if they evade the addition of Thailand VT-4 in the September updates.
if you guys can accept.
We have gotten a promise of not including Chinese made vehicle into the Japan TT, however the situation right now is… meh, you know, they’re attempting.
Also, Chinese TT had already got a VT-4…
Shiit… sorry, my bad.
China already has VT-4 ingame though
Obviously i understand not adding vt4 to Thailand during September
but if the main concern is, not sharing vehicles across nations that have rough relations between them
then why is adding ASEAN to Chinese subtree even a consideration at this point
Specially while there are currently some headbutting between Philippines, other ASEAN nations and China
It can also get 3 more VT4s even if we exclude Thai VT4
Edit: 4 VT4s
True, but do read this:

:'(
I was not concerned much about the Chinese ground TT, so I thought VT-4 didn’t exist in-game.
Sorry, Chinese players and others.
Would the VT4 be added to the Japanese tech tree ten or twenty years from now? Considering China consistently criticizes Japan for not formally apologizing for historical wartime atrocities (massacres, pillaging, sexual violence, etc.), while Japan maintains it has expressed regret at certain points—it’s clear China doesn’t regard this as a formal apology. In the foreseeable future, I’m afraid War Thunder may not even survive long enough to witness a genuine reconciliation between China and Japan
we dont want see japan have chinese vehicle
That’s the September update with the troublesome date.
Well it’s going to THAILAND, so yes it’ll probably be added sometime after that.
In fact, the only useful sub technology trees of China’s technology tree are Pakistan’s VT5 and JF17 fighter jets
There’s no Pakistani VT5
Its a thai tank. It should go to the thai subtree.
My mistake VT5 is from Bangladesh
Its not just Japan, take Russia, any accusations were turned down bc that was USSR, and Russia isnt USSR
only nation that apologized and deeply regretted any crimes was Germany
As you said, the game wont survive, and to be honest, it wouldn’t have survived if everyone was pssed bout it
Difference between adding a VT-4 to the Japanese tech tree and a swastika is that the VT-4 is a tank purchased by Thailand from China and operated by Thailand.
It can be added to Thailand yes but we know that it is not getting added this upcoming update.
Swastika that the world is known for thanks to Germany WWII is more of a symbolism of racial hate to anyone non related to aryans and to the genocide they committed against specific groups.
I know Japan has done bad things in the past and their citizens also paid a heavy price for doing so.
(Politics of then are something we can’t change because we are not from that time)
Japan did improve themselves and learned from their mistakes of the past.
I think it’s best for all of us not to forget the past but to learn from it to prevent future conflicts to happen again.
Setting these grudges from the past aside would help in forging new bonds.
If people continuing to be in camps like these there won’t be any form of peace in the future.
