Just wondering when Russia is going to get a better top tier tank that isn’t based off the same old archaic design?
Russia will only get the T14 Armata when America gets abrams x, or Germany the kf41 panther, etc.
Kinda bs, given the t14 Armata came out 6-7 years before the others
Came out is a bit of a stretch its only really been driven around at parades and hasn’t seen any active service even when there’s an actual war to use it in.

Vehicles never have to see war to be added to the game.
Think of the T58, T29, T30, etc. all prototypes. -
The T14 Armata has had a lot more activity than other nations new tanks.
Don’t throw your best things in front lines to be captured possibly. Common sense.
Im not saying it has to be in service to be in warthunder that much is obvious by the things already in game just pointing out that its still largely a prototype not a full production tank so obviously the devs would categorize it along with other such tanks, i mean we dont even have the sepV3 in game and thats a full production MBT.
And only when America receives its top-of-the-line M829A4 projectile!
T-80BVM and T-90M are fun tanks. It’s fine.
I think you mean the KF51. The AbramsX is also not comparable since it was only a technology demonstrator. If anyone should be mad about their vehicles getting held back because of the other side, it’s NATO.
As far as I understood, the T14 never ‘came out’. Its a cancelled project with several finished pre production prototypes. They were used for red square parades, but never got adopted. Afaik, instead RU decided to up the production of T-90 tanks and to refurbish soviet tanks out of long time storage.
The Armata project is more or less dead.
Whenever Russia decides to move away from that doctrine.
I don’t personally think the T14 is a good enough tank to come out at the same time as something like the Abrams X or the KF41. Maybe it could come out with the Sepv3?
Oh im fine with SEPV3 coming in with the Armata, they were both shown roughly at the same time.
Technically Germany, and Italy have the most advanced tank if I recall right.
How so? Armata has been out for years. Leo 2a7 is just as new.
Incorrect. They didnt fully cancel it, they shelved it due to the war. The high cost was a considerable consequence where they could produce 3 T-90Ms likely per 1 Armata.
Procurement of tech has also been a problem.
They have 68~ from the last figure I saw, so no it’s not just a prototype, the proto type is: object 195
but it’s not high in production numbers either. They’re likely doing what they do with all their tank past the 1950s.
Buy a bunch, test them for flaws, fix the flaws, then enter them for service. As far as I know they are still producing them, just in very very low numbers.
Kinda bs, given the t14 Armata came out 6-7 years before the others
Kinda bs considering the tank to this day still doesn’t have a finished design and production(non existent)means it will never actually enter service at scale
The high cost was a considerable consequence where they could produce 3 T-90Ms likely per 1 Armata.
Hell no, Russia was refurbishing 100ds of t90ms a month at a point in time.
If that was anywhere near to a good ratio Russia would’ve have had a decent fleet of t14s by now.
Daily reminder the t14 has no production line.
They have 68~ from the last figure I saw
Yeah no, there are no accurate numbers on how many t14s were produced.
russian top tier will look like this for sure:
-
T-80BVM 2023 pack

-
T-90M2 APS

-
Kurganets-25
-
Bumerang IFV
when they actually build one
