I mean that if a design is heavy based on a previous design, I believe it counts as an upgrade, you can’t look at the SU30SM and tell me it isn’t an upgrade to the SU27, a major upgrade sure, but an upgrade nontheless

because the M1A2 SEPv2 was introduced after 1995, and someone said it didn’t count because it was an upgrade, but then said the R77-1 etc did count, and the original post was implying that america has nothing made past 1995
