Top tier maps that are fun for GRB

That is actually false.

Urban environment is worst possible environment for armored warfare, where all tanks advantages are negated.

Enable barrel collisions and you’ll see how not cool the urban environment is for tanks…

Generally maps should get bigger the higher you go in BR.

The fact that I can see maps like Sweden or Advance to the Spawn Rhine above 7.7 is incredibly annoying.

A very evil part of me wishes they would do this honestly…

Old Maginot followed this forumula relatively well…

Fulda kinda does as well but its abit worse than Maginot even with the changes to the latter
(Still better than certain other maps)

Also one pet peeve i have is that they added the arcade versions of certain maps into RB and i wish they would get rid of them.

Fulda sucks so bad it’s not even a joke. It’s a CQB map disguised as a long map.

Long range maps should be the future for GRB top tier, anyone that likes <400m engagements/CQB brawling should stay below 9.3; as the vehicles above that range were almost entirely designed for medium to long range engagements.

It’s the exact same case as the one I like to call ‘The Fox 3 syndrome’ when people cries over guns only/no ARH modes for top tier planes, it only shows how people doesn’t understand how it works the tech they like.

As someone who mostly plays top tier, I much prefer the longer range maps, especially in my Challenger xD

No one said it had to be open, there’s plenty of cover and even a town on the big version of Poland.

Being a US main, I love to see a challenger on my team to help take out Leo2a7. Those top Leo’s have some of the jankiest armor. I just wish the matchmaker was USSR v NATO. Germany can use a nerf as well.

I feel like top tier maps should be about 5km in total distance across, giving 1km to get to engagement range for both sides, and engagement distances would be up to 3km. This would allow people to maneuver and position, while not wasting time being too large.

I’d much prefer a EC persistent game mode on a map the size of the Air RB maps, even if they are lower fidelity.

It would also make hiding multi vehicle SAMs easier and less frustrating, and CAS will have to actually scan the area around instead of just looking for enemy spawn

I like the small map better… Big map is basically sniping 3km across the map and getting killed by CAS in open area everywhere no place to hide.

It would be more realistic for the mode that’s called “realistic battles”

Sniping with MBTs is how they’re actually used,not zooming around a 1.5x1.5 sqkm urban hellhole map. It would also be easier for AA to his and shoot down the CAS.

Maps like 38th parallel and Seversk are godawful at higher tiers, don’t know how they go under the radar.

Yeah those are bad too, I just didn’t want to spend all day typing which is why I left them out. I also hate maps like 38th parallel, where 70% of the map is not navigable due to rocks and such. Its clearly to force engagement not allowing any other play style.

they shall just put Top Tier ARB 100km x 100km map on Ground with no label on both enemy and allies similiar to Simulator but you have 3rd person. Match time will be 6 Hours. Players being 800. 400 Each side.

That What my idea for WW2 Battle was or we make it fully realistic by pulling out the map of Europe and spawn point of real WW2 military bases and Airfield for the Vehicles. Players? 345K tanks and 800k aircraft.
