Wow I’ve never had issues as CAS because ir missiles are a joke and manual missiles are a joke so I just stay low and print free money.

Maybe I’m just bad, but I die to Type-81C’s and FIM-92K’s pretty often unless reflaring.
Stingers are a joke though. Type-81s not as much but they get outranged like all other spaa.
Thats odd I literally never get killed by any ir missiles. Once I’m in the air unless they have enemy air up I’m practically impossible to kill.
Except for the fact aircraft are perfectly balanced from 1.0 - 11.0.

SPAA isnt useless people who think like this are the reason why you die to CAS often. Getting killed by planes is part of the game, its the reason why you have a line up and can respawn. Spawning SPAA is 100% valuable and makes the enemy CAS players have to focus you and if you manage to kill them the SP trade is demonstrably in your favor. All these cope threads are just people playing bad lineups with 0 spaa or think that they shouldnt have to spawn spaa because “its GROUND RB 4HEAD” you are the reason why you are having a bad time. Perhaps go play a lower BR where getting CAS’d is exactly the same but the plane isnt called SU-34.

The issue is spawning in CAS to quickly. You shouldnt be able to spawn in planes and helicopters 30 seconds into a game. Gaijin needs to remove scouting reduction plane spawn costs and reduce SP gains from capping the FIRST point of the game.

Top CAS range: 18 - 20km.
Top SPAA range: 12km for non-Soviets, 17km for Soviets.
MUH RANGE MUH RANGE, ai caramba. Hunteri86 enjoyer over here. This response tells me you have 0 clue how top tier works and your stats reflect that. No one sits at max range and spams missiles, it literally never happens outside of super super rare instances when you are playing vrs troll youtubers. The farther they sit from you as the spaa player the better, because the farther the missiles they fire have to go the more likely they are to either be shot down or miss.
The most effective way to use CAS planes is to literally YOLO in as fast as humanly possible (and early), get as close as possible to make your hits more secure. You would know this if you actually understood how to play the game. Here is an example of CAS being used effectively for reference.
Even if you are unable to kill the CAS plane the simple fact that you spawned at all makes the CAS players not able to bomb your team effectively since if they unfocus on you they die. You forget that you can also spawn in a literally any time and most times CAS is unable to defend itself vrs spawn protected spaa. You have a plethora of tools at your disposal to deal with CAS (Not to mention that you can spawn a plane of your own and run them down.) and you choose to cry on the forums and leddit. Its just sad.
