It is NOT limited to a specific nation, it is a premium vehicle issue.
You have the Clickbait, the Leo 2, the T-80, the Fuji, the Challenger 2…almost all nations have a high tier premium and people use it to exclusively research their tech tree.
What should be a complimentary addition to the lineup has become the exclusive part of it.
The way certain content creators review these vehicles by not bringing a full lineup increases the issue as well. And since these CC only show their good rounds in a video, people think they will perform the same way…but they don’t.
So you need to make a change to ground rb to ensure your matches are somewhat competitive and that change requires an incentive to stay in a match till the end.
If that can only be achieved by holding back rewards, then so be it.
Also, the other vehicles have to be the same rank, because otherwise ppl will bring some reserve vehicles and just call it a day.
I also have to say that Gaijin needs to change something! Why should we build planes and helicopters and full decks that take 600 hours? That you have 5 minutes of gameplay with complete idiots… please move the BR to 13.7 for tanks so that people can have some peace from the beginners. Gaijin needs to take a look at the gameplay and really change something fundamentally, otherwise Warthunder will go under in the next few years.
There’s no fixing it as top tier premiums are already out in the wild.
If Gaijin wanted to earn easy cash they could’ve added top tier jets, as ODL is a non issue in ARB and is also easier to get into it skill wise.
I get you as an american main with no full top tier lineup i rarely play with the abrams but the clickbait users and T80 is a bad example they just rush in thinking its like a maus versus 50 L3 which is not and they get killed and die same for top tier air rb the only thing they do is bomb either for euro fighter F15E Rafals and when they do get it they have no example of skill and never even try the tech tree vehicles me myself i grinded until 10.3 america ground with no premium account until i bought some because its just impossible to grind longer with such rp requirements but id say the premium problems for usa really starts at around 10.3 with M1 KVT or the wolfpack and then the clickbait at top tier and i just dont like top tier in such way yesterday i had a match that i was playing alone everyone left within 5 minutes until i had no spawn points left and the match was over resulting in me dying 7 times and everyone barely having 2 deaths with clickbaits and t80 they gotta remove them from top tier and up the br bracket its not normal seeing top tier with people who havent even reached level 50
Oh air rb is just as bad. Especially with american premium clowns. But honestly american players in general. They get some of the best fighters in game, strap bombs to them, steal bases from people in non premiums who actually need the xp and then die.
They are the bottom of the food chain and ruin top tier
Here is the ugly reality - Although I agree with you here is the epiphany of the obvious:
Premium pays the bills
Gaijin is a company
Companies are in business to make money.
If you get rid of Premium and the “Wallet Warriors” the only way you can sustain the game is eliminate play for free. Then, to maintain profit, one would have to start making it subscription based, and pay for the game similar to what Bethesda’s Fallout 76 does - Buy the game, then pay a subscription to play it on closed servers, and then make additional income from micro-transactions. I would hazard a guess that the immediate effect is the player base population would take a major hit. Then you wouldn’t have anyone to play with.
I like the idea of reducing SL payout based on activity, but really what else can you do? I think that the Dev’s have to do more to support squadron based play, of which they have been ignoring. Because when it’s all said and done those of whom that are really causing the problem are Premium driving Rando’s. You almost never see Squadron members pull that nonsense.
That would never work, for the reasons I stated above. Although if you coupled that with BR decompression, and then packed low and mid tier only with premiums, while then only allowing the last two tiers to be grind-only, that would be feasible as a business model.
However, that would be a major game overhaul and Gaijin would have to have a reasonable cost-benefit analysis that would justify investing that many man-hours (money). In other words, a company is not going to spend money to overhaul their structural business model unless the change both pays for the investment and yields more income, which it would not. So what you are proposing will never happen.
There are PLENTY of rank 6+ premium players to fill queue slots, and not only that, they’d be more likely to stick around since they’re not fighting lvl 100s with thousands of hours.
You don’t play a lot of top tier battles. I see lvl 50-100 in prem Soviet tank T-80U-E1 quit after being kil so they have line up but decide to quit instead to play further.
