Top Tier Fake Fears?

This is sort of a double post. A lot like my Strv 122 post. Are the Leclercs and Leo 2A5/6/7 really as big and bad as often said? I get the Lec’s autoloaded 5s and the leos armor and gun and whatnoy but is it really that scary? (In general plus from Brit top tier ground)

Personally I’ve never heard anyone say the leclercs are scary, I almost think the opposite. and the leopards are good but only the 2a7 is really scary in any way.

Leclerc are good main battle tanks and I fear it everytime I see on the battle log, my primary target because usually people that are playing Leclerc are actually good in the game. Don’t use this logic to Ariete, it’s bad and people that plays it just do to feel different but the tank itself is mediocre.

I’m surprised. Although I see why, considering I’ve utterly blasted Leclercs with chally 2s stock round that is L23A1. But they’re gun/ round is plenty Scarry, autoloader too.
The Leo 2a6 isn’t scarry? Cause it has the same gun/ round as 2a7.
Thanks for this I’ll note this down.

Yeah I do the same nation skill tank priority. The tiny bit I’ve played I’ve done the same. And experienced why. They have a consistent 5s reload and good round. Just today a single hull down one changed the whole game.

I have to disagree with you’re statement about the ariete. It’s one of the scariest tanks. I’ve never seen a bad/ average player in one. It’s always the masters and they wreak havoc. Many losses and deaths cause of them. Ofc they do sort of just die but especially with the new one with the camo net you never see them. They’re always my top priority target if I can have a chance to shoot one.

Leo 2A7 is particularly scary, it’s one of the scariest top tier MBTs. To see Germany or Italy (or Sweden) on the enemy team is nerve-wracking. You will have to raise your focus level so that you can have reaction times quick enough to aim accurately for its tiny weakspots. Even when approaching a Leo 2A7 side-on, you will have to aim very accurately so that the spall liner doesn’t completely negate your shot. If you don’t take out both the gunner and commander, you WILL 100% die. But that is incredibly hard to do, especially side-on.

Thanks. But are spall liners really that powerful? (Gunna make a whole post about them) I’ve idler shot and side shot Leo 2a7s with my chally 2s stock L23A1 no problem. Even into the tanks left side. I’ve definitely noticed that if they can fire back you’re cooked unless you’re peek shooting hull down.
Are it’s weak spots really that small? IK it has the little composite wedges (>) on the upper corner edge of the composite LFP and UFP, and that it has composite screen over the critical angle plate. But does it make it that much stronger? Is the mantlet impenetrable?
Thanks for the tips and info.
