Hello, I just tried to make post on suggestion section but it didn’t pass or something, I PM a moderator few days ago but no response to let me know what I did wrong in the structure of my post.
The intention of all this was to decompress exclusively Tier 8 and also to give the space to MiG-29s get its historical loadout. I made a list of the BR changes:
It may not be perfect but I think that would free too many aircrafts that are struggling to perform.
My idea was that the MiG-29 of Germany (both), MiG-29 (9-13) and the hungarian MiG-29 gets its loadout of 4xR-73 & R-27R/T.
What do you think, Did I waste my time and effort in fixing the top tier BR? did my list is bad that cannot be reviewed? I wanted to post it on the suggestion section to have the possibility to that idea go to the devs and consider the change.
Everything above 13.3 should be moved up by 0.3, and 13.3 should be split into 2 BRs. New 13.3 would include the Tornado F.3 late, F-4F ICE, Su-27, Su-33, F-15A, and maybe the Gripen A. It would also include the J-8F if it got PL-8Bs.
You can’t give the Mig-29As R-73s without another round of decompression(imo), focusing on 12.7 and 13.3/13.7 rebalancing. In your proposal they are at 13.0, despite being objectively worse than the Mig-29G, which is objectively worse than the Flankers at the same BR.
I keep the tornado f3 late and the phatom at 13.0 due to its airframe, they compete with more agile aircrafts that can do crazy maneuvers despite tornado and kws have fox-3s
Perhaps. The main reason Id move them up though is their relative performance compared to the other ARH slingers.
Sea Harrier FA2 (Sub-sonic and normally no gun, no IR and only 4x AMRAAM)
AV-8B+ (Subsonic with Gun, 2x IRCCM and 4x AMRAAM)
J-8F (Supersonic, not the best RWR I think and 4x non-IRCCM + 2x PL-12)
Kfir C10 (Supersonic, great radar but only 0-4x non-IRCCM + 0-4x Derby)
Viggen Di (supersonic, weak RWR with 2-4x non-IRCCM) + 2-4x AMRAAM)
etc etc
They have good radars, Good RWRs, are supersonic and carry a full compliment or both IRCCM missiles and ARH missiles.
Tornado F3 Late (Supersonic, Great radar, great RWR, Good CM count (that hopefully will be expanded soon) 4x IRCCM + 4x AMRAAM)
F4F ICE (Sueprsonic, Good radar, Good RWR, okay CM count, 4x IRCCM + 4x AMRAAM)
So just for the basis of decompressing the various ARH slingers they should be 0.3 higher.
They struggle completely against things in an uptier, but what doesnt, but it is unreasonable for something like a Phantom with Skyflash DFs to be fighting Phantoms with Aim-9Ms and AMRAAMs, so it helps resolve the 12.0 compression.
I see your point, it would require a second decompression probably to make it work properly, there is a lot of work to have a top tier slightly balanced I guess…
