As of now, which nation/nations hold the best lineups for both Air RB and Ground RB in top BR?
I’d say the best top tier goes to Germany. The 2A7V is just insanity, and the EFT can do CAS really well if you actually know how to play it.
The Typhoon should be the best, but is hamstrung with major issues that still havent been resolved after 5 months. So we’ll have to wait and see if it gets fixed and what everyone else gets sooner rather than later.
At the moment, the meta tank is the Leopard 2A7V which Germany has and a fairly healthy ground tree overhaul.
So Germany with that combo of “best” aircraft and tank.
Russia has a very strong line-up of tanks too and might get stronger soon, they also have the best CAS. Their air whilst weaker in some areas, is very strong in others.
US is fairly healthy at the moment and i Could see them getting major buffs soon
Sweden might make a come back if the Gripen E comes soon and is in a decent state.
Everyone else is either crippled with bad MBTs or weaker aircraft
I’d pick US/RU, and pick whatever one you think is cooler, because you are gonna have to grind their stuff out, you might as well enjoy it and not just have your head in the clouds (top tier), and by the time you make it there things likely be different than they are now.

Their air tree has a bunch of black holes, after the G6 in late war props, your post war stuff is just ww2 jets vs stuff like mig15 in uptiers, all their good planes are basically RU/US stuff after that peaking at the mig21 bis, then its just powercrept slop until the typhoon. The premiums you have to grind are 2 bombers which are miserable to play, and thankfully the mig21bis, so you are gonna have to REALLY like that plane.
US has multiple good top/high tier premiums, USSR just has the mig23, which will be uptiered every single match into a hoard of F4S. You get 2 missiles which are better than american stuff around that BR, but a pretty bad radar after the MTI nerf/fix. If you are grinding to top tier from scratch premiums are gonna be a big part of that. For ground RU/US has decent 10.x multi premium lineups, GER does not.
For air and ground…
USA overall.
However for speed of grind while having strong options: Sweden, Germany, China, Japan, and even Italy due to a Leopard 2A7HU and MASSIVE buffs to Ariete lethality.
USSR is a slow grind for good aircraft, and good tanks, so it’s a matter of whether you want USSR lethality or better in other tech trees that take less time to get as well, or in the case of USA significantly more options for about the same grind.
France is probably the best GRB nation at top tier… Leclerc is massively slept on, you have 2 Leopard 2s, best Heli in game, 2nd best SPAA, and best/2nd best CAS
As @jspene mentioned, currently France has the best weapons in all areas that can be featured in ground realistic and simulator battles (you can’t choose your plane for arcade).
In summary: France currently have the best balance between air and ground vehicles effectiveness, anti air and close air support power.
The Refale C F3 is highly maneuverable even when not using afterburner still very fast and have good energy retention while using small, light yet deadly air-to-ground missiles and if I’m not wrong the best short range active radar homing missile, which is good for ground battles since the air spawn is pretty close to the map.
The Leclerc’s series are very fast, has good turret armor with godly level fire power, good first-stage ammo stowage for a 6,0s reload time. You might take the Leopard 2A6 NL but most as last resource. In terms of anti air,France has the second best vehicle: ItO-90M,
While in the helicopter area the most annoying, agile: Tiger HAD Block 2, if you ever had the chance to fight against France in a top tier match, I’m sure you got a player sneaking behind a hill lock and firing with a Tiger HAD Block 2, I wish I had it but I’m far from ending the France tech tree research.

They also have the new Tiger HAC with Pars 3 LR which is better than Spike
For germany what plames are good CAS?
The Typhoon, well… it should be if they gave it its IRL A2G loadout.
At the moment its being quite massively artificially nerfed, but fingers crossed for the relatively near future.
The Tornado ASSTA1 is an okay CAS too, though struggles in the uptier vs any fighter.
Oh, thought it had the best CAS ingame, what nation would that be then in your opinion?
Soviets with the Su-34/Su-30 with KH-38MTs (especially as they dont have to deal with the best SPAA at top tier) or France with the Rafale firing AASM Hammers.
Both AGMs are by far the most powerful in game and their volleys are deadly.
Typhoon is good for sustained CAS, but you can only engage 1 target at a time at the moment and from relatively close range The Brimstones can also be inconsistant on whether or not they kill. It should be the best, but is rather massively nerfed

The soviets have the Pantsir, which is by far the best SPAA at top tier. So its extremely rare for both teams to contain the same nation. So soviet CAS almost never faces Soviet SPAAs.
France, Sweden and China have okay SPAA, but its not as good and everyone else might as well not have anything at top tier at the moment, because its generally not worth spawning in.
