That might be the case. However, I had one really fun game in US top tier using the tiger shark as cas. I got 4 tanks and one su25 as frags.
Top tier US lineup is fine. It’s not the best. It’s far from the worst.
The problem is, most of the people playing top tier US are not playing all - if any of the actual toptier lineup, because they only have Clickbait and / or AIM in their lineup.
Everygame i play with US on my team, It’s 50,60,70,80%+ Clickbait or AIM’s that leave after one death. Buffing SEP, Buffing F-15E, Buffing ‘x’, ‘y’ or ‘z’ does nothing to help because most US players don’t own or play these vehicles anyway.
Honestly, best thing that could help US is to sell more premiums. Sell a premium ADATS. Sell a premium light tank. If people are going to buy their way to the top, at least let them buy a complete lineup so half the team isn’t back in the hangar within two minutes.

They can continue to respawn, as many times as possible with backups, it will often only bring the enemies two steps closer to nuke lol
I always notice on the US side, you tend to have 2-5 individuals who largely ‘carry’ the team, with the rest having very low score. Whereas on the REDFOR team, the score distribution is spread much more evenly across the whole team.
If those players on US side who often do little and go back to hangar have more vehicles available to them they can spawn, it takes a lot of pressure off the ones trying to carry because they’re not as badly outnumbered in the second half of the match.
BLUFOR also has a serious, chronic lack of SPAA. Not just in quality (Pantsir / Ito / TOR are almost always on the other side), but in quantity too. ADATS seem somewhat rare, whereas i see multiple Pantsir every game. US teams tend to get destroyed by CAS later on in matches. A premium ADATS might help this.
Rank III-V can be explained by players with bad lineups, due to Germany not having a ton between 4.0 and 5.0 (I’ve seen players jump from Pz.IVs to Tigers before), and between 7.0-8.7 (There’s just not alot there).
However, I’m not sure what’s up with 8.0+.
A better SPAA would be better. From what I’ve heard, the Pantsir is the only one worth spawning, and it isn’t worth it to spawn in a bad SPAA.

BLUFOR definitely needs better SPAA’s in their tech tree’s, 100%. I only ask for a premium ADATS because, well, as i said, most of the team is in premiums with no lineup. Adding a new powerful SPAA at top rank in the tree doesn’t help much because most of the team is still hundreds of hours of grinding away from actually using it.
I mostly play Israel, so i have no usable AA myself. Often i watch a lone Ka-52 / UHT completely destroy our team because we have no AA. All it would take is a single ADATs spawning to quite easily take them down but we never seem to have one. The heli just destroys all our Clickbait / AIMS. They go back to hangar, and its GG for the rest of us. Too outnumbered to fight back.
The ADATS is IMO a waste of a crew slot. Flying an f16 or 15 with CAP is a better choice.
I’ve only put the ADATS back into my line up because it was lowered to SPAA sp cost.

It is, but it’s much more difficult to get the SP to do that consistently.
I also often experience that when i do spawn CAP, particularly on flat maps, not only am i fighting against the enemy aircraft, i’m also getting second partied by a Pantsir. Makes it quite difficult to CAP effectively when you’re constantly on the deck flying defensively.
In order to spawn in plane you have to earn sp points, guess which area us tanks suffers most? Thats right trying to fight against GER+SWE+RU combo and earn enough sp to spawn in air units.
Current MM is so f’ed up that US fights against that combo %80 of the time which causing the bad win rates, not to mention countless inaccuracies on M1A2 family and Click-Bait players makes it even worse.

I do mainly play tanks but spaa is not my only anti cas. I do like bringing out the f16c a lot as anti cas/cas.
You should bring the F-16c out more often and do cas work with it, super maneuverable and fast, get the mavericks on target before they notice you.
the tanks are good enough not the best but not useless. US top tier has 3 issues, the baindead click bait/AIM players who have one tank any nothing else, the turret ring STILL being wrong and STILL no spall liners both of which have accepted bug reports 10 months ago and gaijin refuses to fix them
I will admit that it is more difficult. Again tho this is something i developed to doing because the ADATS was originally a td and would require a large amount of sp. It’s definitely not ideal and the ADATS is now cheap but i find running CAP aircraft is more effective at dealing with hostile air.
The vehicles being comparatively worse than others makes them bad, the bad players just make it worse.
