I’m personally gonna buy the MiG-23ML next sale to grind Russia, and grab a rank IV or V. I’m almost a lvl 90, and have plenty of experience to swap playstyles, considering a lvl 20 only knows how to play props most likely, they don’t contribute to the team.

At least in the case of top tier premiums most are competitive or at the very least good.
Favorite premium is the 3.7 British version of the p-47, no advantages, just a good grinder with good bombs

Im currently grinding Russia with MIG-23ML and my man you aint gonna like it, you gonna have good games when you in your tire or down tire, uptire will just make you refund. Also most of games are uptire.
only tanks and some of them planes are garabage except F-4S and Mirage, everything else is better invest in talisman.
I have a friend who has it, who is on the forum, and he likes it just fine. If you don’t know how to play it, there comes your issue. It’s a bad sustained fighter in auto-sweep wing mode, but you control your speed and sweep and know your weaponry back to front it’s not a bad plane, with a really good radar system and top speed.
R-24R’s are really good, the R-60’s are meh, but pretty average for everything else at 11.7, and you have no stock grind. R-24R’s are SARH+IOG, meaning background (moving across ground & notching) does absolutely nothing to it, it’s fairly fast, and the MiG-23 is super fast on delivery. It’s better than the Swedes at this range (JA37C suffers) it has all aspects (R-60M Aphid while not being as good as the AIM-9L, it’s all aspect and fairly maneuverable for its speed) and you can carry bombs and rockets for multi role.

The JA37C is worse in every way, and is at the same BR…
Turn rate with wet thrust (afterburner) and full forward sweep will beat out 90% of your opponents in a single circle fight.

The ML is the EXACT SAME PLANE as the MLA in the german tech tree. Same BR and everything. It’s a bit inferior to the MLD, but barely.
While we’re at it, the Mig21Bison is competitive at 12.3, even if it’s a gimmicky plane.
The F4S is the best 12.0 period.
F1C and J35XS are currently overtiered, this will change, hopefully.
F20 was a bad purchase from the beginning, it was obvious as soon as it was announced. Its flight performances are too good to go below 12.3, but its weapons are 12.0 material.
Mig21 LAZUR is a copy-paste Mig21Bis, no surprise here.
F5C is still very competitive, but F5E and F5E FCU need to go up in BR.
A5C is a very good plane, extremely strong at its BR thanks to the Magic 1 missiles.

But I didn’t even mention the overpowered ones yet ! The absolutely disgusting XP-50 and Ju288 that single handedly destroyed their own BRs ! The XP-55 which flies like a goddamn X-Wing from Star Wars.
Or even the Mig15Bis ISH which has the EXACT SAME FLIGHT MODEL as the 15Bis, but sits 0.3 lower somehow.

XP-55 is actually mid, easy 1-tap with the I-135 or whatever has the 3x 20mm shvak.
The Wyvern being able to play at the same BR as the IL-2M is hainous.
The Ju-288 is actually busted, like, it outruns the J-21RA and the J-29 sometimes.
You just dont know how to play XP-55.

I would say premium Mirage is best 12.0, those magic 2 are just perfect.
J35XS is just garbage, like I bought him just becasue I was so excited to play Gripens but yeah I left that until they reverte these changes.

The XP-55 has a ridiculous instantaneous turn once it picked up some speed. It can actually turn like a Zero for 1 or 2 turns. It struggle to gain speed, but it can dump it for some completely UFO maneuver.
