And if not, it will look ugly. Even today most maps look like s*** if you want 100fps out of an older graphics card. And the money they put in newer graphic cards, is money GJN can’t earn.
We have this on EC maps already, and guess what, it changed nothing.
Some games like Genshin Impact, have already stopped supporting legacy consoles, so sooner or later, Gaijin will do the same thing. However, We don’t know when that will happen, and we might have to wait years.
This dovetails very neatly with the suggestion I’ve been pushing since I started the game: Bigger maps, planes spawned in multiple locations, and an RB that removes all of the nearly totally superfluous air to ground target and missions as spawning strike aircraft hurts a team relying on air to air, and bombing just really doesnt do enough to justify it when bonuses for PvP are so high.
Correspondingly suggest a similar addition of a more balanced and actually combat-realistic RB mode that awards increased points for striking mission targets, number of surviving team strike aircraft, and maybe even ending when the ‘mission goals’ listed at the beginning are met, not when all enemy aircraft are eliminated. That makes ARMs (CBUs???) SEAD, & Iron Hand missions relivant as well as high value targets would be defended like airfields.
Not asking for a whole lot here - and the smaller spawn numbers, spread out spawn points, & bigger maps at higher tier would really be a great start.
Smaller team sizes would be better on the maps we currently have. I personally enjoy it when the match is almost over and there’s only a few players on each team left.
I wouldn’t mind some larger maps, but most people don’t want to sit around or fly around for 5-10 minutes looking for other players.
Bigger maps could me more interesting if/when they add very long range missiles like meteors, aim174, hypersonics etc
