Tokushu Heiki: Assemble and test an honorable missile to obtain prizes!

This event is the worst yet that I know of. Of course this will be hidden, because honest feedback is not needed on the forums it seems. The test part is simply awful, fire whoever’s idea it was to take away control and force the players to waste more and more time. How I wish there was actual competition in this genre of games, Gaijin would either stop the shady act or go bankrupt. Anyway hope you do better next time. I see I won’t be getting any of the offered vehicles.

Yes, I wasn’t sure if it was only me who felt this way, but at least now I can see I am not the only one. Thank you!

The test part is simply awful

Nah, that part is fun.

You read it here first! :-)

Just finished building my telephone pole slinger lol. I like it after trying it for one match. Having a bit of distance really does help. Absolutely a glass cannon, so don’t think you are going to do well bum rushing up the middle. It is quite quick and turns well, even without any modifications yet. So far so good, I am pleased so far.

Someone told me they adjusted/increased the missile’s controllability, I am not sure as I just got it, but I can say they work just fine in following a moving target. Not sure if I would compare it to the XM1069’s missiles turning abilities, but not that much less maneuverable than the MIM146s. Absolutely are faster to reach out to 1km-2km vs the MIM146s though. They feel faster than HEAT rounds, maybe close to some of the “slower” APFSDS rounds from click to impact.

Idk how useful it will be in real battles vs Air, but you “can” shoot down the aircraft in the test area.

It kinda looks like WALL-E haha.

And you don’t need to fly the missile into the ship either. I saw my missile go over the ship and nosed it down into the sea. I got a ‘hit:’ either splash damage or there’s an area around the target ship which counts as close enough. Got the decal with that.

So after playing every day and only getting 1/2 to 1/3 of the required points I finally completed 3 missiles and got a successful test. However I only have 19 out of 20 “Development Progress Data” items so I can’t get the bomber. Even when you think you’ve succeeded the game trips you as you try to cross the finish line.

You just need to play a few more matches. They are given on a points based schedule as well. You probably only need one or two more matches; 2500k to 5000k more points etc.

Apparently that worked.

Quick question, if I get 3 more missiles and another test report, can I pick any of the other 3 prizes (Ship, F-100, LOSAT) or do I have to work my way up. For example do I have to earn the ship first, then the F-100 then the LOSAT? I doubt I’ll make it with the remaining time but its good to have dreams.

You do not have to do anything else to get the top vehicles, except accumulate 3 completed full “Test Reports”. So, if you got the 1 “Test Report” plane, you would have to do the fail > fail > success THREE MORE times to get 3 more full “Test Reports” (4 total). If you choose NOT to get the 1 “Test Report” plane, you would ‘only’ need to complete the full cycle TWO more times.

Also, you will be able to use those reports for some days after the event, so if you do not make it all the way to 3 total “Test Reports”, you will for sure still be able to get the 1 report plane at the end. Check the first post for more info on how long the factory will be open after material accumulation has ended.

Edit side note: If you do complete 2 full “Test Reports” yourself, and are short on the last one, you could purchase one “Development progress report” and enough materials to finish enough missiles to get a “Target Destruction Report”. Then combining those two to get the last full “Test Report”. That MIGHT be cheaper than buying the LOSAT or other top reward outright, as you would “only” be paying for 1/3rd of the total “Test Reports” needed.

Good luck o7

Is there a way to get the japanese bomber with that missile now? I completed one walkthrough and would really like to have it.

Its by far (for me) the most interesting prize.

Cause the alternatives… a ship, another F-100 (how many F-100 are there now?) and a huge ATGM carrier which wont be playable on 90% of the ground maps…

The Ki-48 with that missile however, I’d really like to check this out. Its something new.

I have noticed that Ki-48-II otsu (Japan) is not showing up on the Marketplace yet/currently. But it DOES show “Coupon can be sold on the Marketplace” so can assume it will eventually be for sale later/after the event is completed. If that is your intent to buy it directly without grinding.

EDIT: “…it just says its not allowed before Oct. 16th.”

Also fwiw, I have the LOSAT and I like it just fine. It is a glass cannon, but duh, its a missile carrier than is high speed lol, see my post: Tokushu Heiki: Assemble and test an honorable missile to obtain prizes! - #209 by W_Wolfe

When I try to change the Test Report for the Ki-48, it just says its not allowed before Oct. 16th. The other prizes are obtainable from now on.

Ah there we go, thanks for the info fren. Cheers!

Edit: The factory/ability to purchase WILL be open after the event material collection phase has ended, so if you complete a full “Test Report” and hold on to that final report, you will be able to trade at the end. (This requires THREE full missile tests, they always go in Fail > Fail > Successful missile in that same pattern, repeating – to finally get a “Target Destruction Report” to use to complete a full “Test Report”.)

Yeah thats it. Very strange.

Not strange, idk their reasons, but that has been the case many times too in the past. Might be to push people to keep grinding to get the higher level rewards, w/e. But yeah, that makes perfect “sense” now, nothing out of the ordinary for past crafting events ;)

Fail > Fail > Success, repeating forever.

You can only complete 6 full “Test Reports” without buying more materials etc: Tokushu Heiki: Assemble and test an honorable missile to obtain prizes!
