I apologize if I used the wrong topic.
So, I’ve been playing WarThunder for a long time, but I just keep getting killed many times, 0 kills in most matches, rarely 1-3 kills. So, any advice or tips on improving my skill and getting a lot of kills? For example: Go to any point and find an invisible spot? I don’t know anything. So, kindly tell me how I should get many kills and positions.
What Br, nation, and type of tank?
I have 13000 plus games and I get 1-3 kills some times on some levels.I can get zero if it goes badly.
Play a game and see who the leader is,see who wins .Somebody will have maybe ten kill ,maybe one person on each side.
Make note of the map you were on and the name of the best player or players then watch the reply and see what they did.See how much ammo they took and where on the map they went. When you go onto the replay set the camera to player view and you will see that they saw.If they use binoculars you will see them do it.You will see how much they use them.Watch until the end and you may see what cover they moved from and what to at the beginning ,middle and end of a game.
Also watch you tube videos for newer players.How to use cover etc
some quick tips
1 firing your main gun give away your position big time both to land and most of all to the planes up above so never fire unless you have a target
2 Your machine gun also gives you away
3 Learn the weak spots on the most common enemies like the KV1 or Sherman etc
you will get kills with one shot this way.
Dont panic when you see an enemy.It may help to have some games on Arcade just to be familiar with seeing the enemy and have less of a jump scare in realistic.Arcade is good for doing a bit of flying and learning about SPAA.
4 Hide behind cover and look around with binoculars ,you will find enemies hiding in bushes or behind rocks on the horizon and next to buildings.
5 Find out what ammo to use on which vehicle and don’t carry too much as you will be a moving ammo dump.
Maybe take 20 APHE for tanks 3 or 4 HE for any SP guns or Light Armoured vehicles that may try to harass you.
Just take your time ,look to see where team mates are going ,don’t move too quickly ,be sneaky or just stay a little way behind somebody else.
Set yourself a target of getting one kill per game.Then two per game and so on.Or one kill per death or something.

Rise others engine volume and lower yours on options in sound section,
Use your binoculars and don’t really rely on wasting your time moving your turret just to use the gunner sight zoom to see something better,
Camp more, keeping a safe distance is important, when next to a enemy and in a ambush, turn off your engine and wait him passes by and shoot it,
If you find a open map, flank, if you find a close map, ambush more, just wait and shoot in the right time, timing is important.

Sound is important honestly, using a headset also help A LOT.
Lower your own engine volume but raise the rest is my advise.
2nd: Crew Skills as they do help you survive and perform faster in reload/fixing/vitality for crew to survive some shrapnel when getting it. I do recommend maxing 1 full bar at a time.
Finish Target, then reload, Leadership from Commander. From there can go with whatever you like to work on next.
3rd: Just up to your map knowledge and awareness. Cant teach you there by words but by watching youtubers like Phlydaily or some that actually play and whine about things less. It’s all about getting experience and making strategic choices than just driving and getting shot instantly without thinking what to do or where to go. Best I can do is share my server replays to you or can watch my youtube videos if want me to share them.

The numbers 2 and 3 you mentioned, are completely understandable. However, the number 1 doesn’t help at all, because I am deaf in real life. So, no possible for me to hear anything anyway.

This is very useful information, critical to my understanding. It’s funny how I did not think of it that way, thank you so much for mentioning this. I will give it a shot in the replay and learn the leaders. Lots of appreciation!

4.0, USSR, the tanks I am using are; KV-1 (L-11) and two of T-34 by level E.
T-34 1942, T-34E STZ and KV-1
Make sure you fully develop those tanks ,get all the mods etc and make sure you look for the ability to upgrade crew skills when you can .This will get faster as you get better and you will get better.I struggled like hell but if I like something then I stick at it.
I also play on occasion with loud music on and no sound from the game and I have good results ,dont ask me how and why but it works : )
When you do get killed just take it as trivial and go again.A bad start does not mean a bad score at the end.You can get three kills in the last three minutes of a game and take top or top three from what was looking like a poor or average game.
