i recall something a community manager said about a helicopter for germany a while ago.
or maybe it was about a helicopter of germany.

considering the H-145M is lying dormant in the CDK files, the UHT has no means of defending itself against the new chinese and russian Helis…

can we hope for anything?

I don’t tell about that. I mean new system complex. It needed something (even ecomically denied turret) or better missiles a2a to defend itself. Imagine that you can’t do anything to z-10ME or Mi-28NM that flying on you (i don’t telling about planes)

UHT unfortunately does not have such a system.

Mi-28NM received new system i take it as example. I doesn’t mean that UHT have same. But UHT now really need economically denied turret or better a2a missiles. Just because it’s already didn’t match with others. Question was especially for something new and this was taken as example.

Gaijin can at least add chin mounted turret as modification and fix the amount of countermeasures for Tiger family.

The proposed turret would be the most sensible thing to do, UHT at 12.3 makes no sense now, as the Mi-28NM and Z-10 have immunity to IR missiles, chin mounted guns and arguably better A2A missiles, specially the Z-10 with TY-90s.

I get the UHT is still the best ground attack helicopter, but not having a chin mounted gun while the rest stay at 12.0 with better protection feels a bit unfair.

Mistrals will not change the performance too much, I barely use the ‘em on my French Tiger.

God I forgot about the French Tiger… Another reason why the UHT should go down to 12.0 or 11.7 when the French one is many times better.
