They play UK, Italy and Israel. Only real men may endure the eternal suffering of such Gaijin-baned nations.
BTW you need to sing my little song there like ‘Natural’ by Imagine Dragons if you want it to sound good.
Ok, but this is a very different thing from going to 7.0 a year ago, which is what Gaijin said they were considering and then elected not to do.
If everything is decompressed and the best 6.7s go up a BR step, then in relative terms to your close competitors you’re staying at the same BR, even if the number looks different.
The only reason it got nerfed is because there was a bug report proving it was inaccurate. Gaijin doesn’t nerf or buff vehicles for balance. They may add new weaponry for balance, but not change the vehicles themselves.
Except it’s a weak argument and you failed to defend it, you reverted back to statistics instead.
An IS-3 doesn’t have to shoot 2-3 times, flank and kill the Tiger, it can one shot it in the turret from any angle. If Tiger 2 gets his gun on IS-3 first, the IS-3 can just stay on the move, wiggle and push the Tiger 2, because it doesn’t have any meaningful weakspots. You would know this if you actually played the IS-3.
Shooting the barrel, tracks and flanking can be done with any tank. 90% of tanks at 6.7 can do the same thing with IS-3, but better, because they are much more mobile than Tiger 2, a Sherman 76 would be better at killing IS-3s this way.
You could make this argument about pretty much any tank in the game, that you can shoot the opponent’s barrel, tracks and flank it.
The irony and audacity
Welp let ignore the decompression. If we move TIger II to 8.0 which it gonna face some modern MBT and middle cold war vehicles. which is extremely unfair. APFSDS at that BR some tank have thermals and Laser range finders already. TIger is useless at 7.0 uptier.
it probably should have gone up, seeing as the preproduction turret has no business being the same BR, but 6.3 is comically too low for it. However German players are by far the loudest obnoxious voice in the games community so get more leverage. Last time ive seen british mains such as myself get a win through whining was getting BOL on the T10 harrier
Who the hell think 6.3 is an good BR?
Yep. The worst thing about playing Germany a lot is being associated with these people, who whine about M-51s and want historical matchmaking and all the usual crap we’re all familiar with. Besides anyone who’s actually studied the history of these vehicles knows how much they get flattered in War Thunder compared to real life. Though to be fair you can say the same about, say, a lot of Soviet tanks too.
I don’t think anyone sane would suggest giving it an 8.0 BR.
If you mean that at 7.0 it would have a hard time in a full uptier, I agree. Especially now that it moves slower. Though consider what the 75mm Jumbo has to see in a full uptier…
Even after several rounds of decompression, it’s still an issue. It’s better than it was two years ago, but 5.7s still get butchered by 6.7 and what comes after is also very compressed.
The most common posts and the ones that get the most likes are the ones that make fun of German mains.
Where’s this leverage you speak of.
oh i meant if we put at 7.0 it gonna get uptier to 8.0. it autocorrect fault.
why not give it something special? let say tiget II at BR 6.7 only can maxium meet 6.0 at downtier and uptier is 7.7. It just kind like the Soviet Tu-4 at 8.0 moving it lower making it too powerful.
Not really. Just because somebody CAN reload very fast, doesn’t mean they will ALWAYS load very fast. Its more unrealistic to believe every crew that used the BMP-1 can fire 3.5 rounds in 6 seconds.
let just put 100 people in to test and average that reload speed. 6second is ridiculous I assume 3sec reload will be better.
I mean, stuff like that has been proposed many times over the years, but Gaijin’s priority is populating lobbies and they’re extremely conservative with matchmaking changes. On the bright side though decompression does happen, even if it’s slow. Playing 6.7 in March 2023 was very different vs playing it now. I’m sure in two years it will be different still. Patience will see us through :D
I’m sure Gaijin has access to a BMP-1 and 100 random people who’ve never used it. That’d just make the reload speed longer I assume.
At least you guys can relax in knowing gaijin had to ahistorically change the gear ratios on the Tiger II to go 38 km/h instead of 34.6 km/h as its top speed due to backlash
invite WT players, dude… 90% of the WT community is literally in their 60s ,70s or 80s and most of them are War veterans.
Hey mate, allow me to take a moment of your time since you’re here and you seem very knowledgeable on the subject. I’ve been considering making a formal suggestion about a Jagdtiger Sla, since the engine was actually tested on a Jagdtiger, while installation in the Tiger II was planned but never carried out. So it’s built in metal and with the current mobility nerf having a Jagdtiger with a bit more oomph would actually make sense in the game. However, I’ve never done a vehicle suggestion before. I was wondering if you have any tips or if you happen to have any sources close on hand about the testing of the engine on the JT. Over the weekend I plan to search for relevant material too.
Cheers

The majority of War Thunder players are teenagers or young adults who have no idea about War other than what they’ve heard.
That the 10%. Those old players dosen’t have time to chat.
So how do you know they exist?
