Throttle binds missing and not working

I have a problem where when I try to set my keybinds for throttle of aircraft, for the axis it does not have increase value and decrease value like I see in tutorials, it has maximum value and minimum value. When I set these to W and S, in game, the throttle is always at 47 percent when I am not pressing W or S, but when I press one of them it changes. When I press W, it becomes WEP, when I press S it becomes 0. I am on a Macbook air, and I also sometimes play on a different computer on the same account. On my other computer (logged in on the same account) I can change the value by one by pressing W and S, but for some reason I can’t on this specific computer. I don’t know why this is happening but it is really annoying. If someone could help me figure this out that would be great. Thanks.

check the option for “Relative Control” within the throttle settings
