Both EAC and BattleEye are Kernel Level Anti-Cheats already…
Impacting performance and not doing much else
As far as this guys actions ,Gaijin will react in about three years …unless he does something really stupid that will impact their profits .
Theres only so much those Anti Cheats can do because most Cheats run on Kernel Level too in order to block the Anti Cheat.
Even for BF6 requiring Secure Boot theres already ways to circumvent that same as Vanguards Hardware-ID Ban but i think Gaijin should still do at least the latter; scares at least some away / prevents some from returning.
But only proper solution would be if Governments would make Cheating in MP-Games illegal and selling Cheats so that Game Companies can actually do something against Websides providing those and potentially Cheat-Developers. Last thing might be hard but would already do good if they have no place to even sell them in the first place
Complete and utter hogwash
They knew.
This is nothing but damage control, they didn’t stand silent while he attacked custom battles and killed live servers or screwed with people, they egged him on
I’ll miss some things but I’m glad the knock off XVM is dead and let the rest burn.
I decided to check a CB discord I’m in to see if there were any mentions of CBs dying on July first 2024, and guess what.
This makes me wonder if there are more instances where customs died that were caused by him.
There are multiple across years but he associates with quite a few people that have TOS breaking usernames and also I don’t want to cause the thread to get locked since this thread is kinda on a topic that usually isn’t allowed on the forum to begin with.
So I’m not gonna do anymore screenshots and you’ll just have to take my word for it that he boasted about stuff involving customs on Sept 2nd and the giant banana was not a bug but him.
I just wanted to use those screenshots to absolutely highlight how the lead statshark dev who said they had no idea what he did or the impact it had on the community is absolutely lying through his teeth.
It is to the victim(s).
Stealing corp data is a serious crime where you can do serious time for. Hacking game accts and being a nuisance flies under the radar, legally. “Pluspy” probably knows this. And also what others have said about the pathology of them.
If that person can alter chat from other person perspective, its must has access to his inventory also, same stuff pretty much.
Well, I never use Statshark why the hell is my username up there? I don’t get it.
Yikes, Well guess im not trusting them ever again, Such a shame.
Wish Gaijin would give us an official place to go for community wide monthly stats so we don’t need to rely on third parties who may or may not be malicious.
I just like seeing what the community trends are, I could care less for individual player stats, But its good the XVM clone will get killed off from this, It would have just made try hards more toxic than they already are.
“He changed and did not make cheats anymore” Yeah that fools no one, Its exactly like when criminals say they are a changed person when they go to court for the same thing 7 times in a row.
key questions remain unanswered:
- How did he gain the ability to modify in-game chat and UI without official access?
- Was this done through an internal exploit, API vulnerability, or insider connections?
- If he could access live game interfaces, could he also access private data (like linked accounts or payment info)?
- What measures are now being taken to ensure this cannot happen again?
This is not a minor issue — it’s a potential security breach involving live game environments and player data. Both Gaijin and StarShark owe the community a transparent, detailed explanation and a full security audit.
Someone probably looked you up on there at one point.
And for life statshark should be banned to access any api’s they knew, but oh we got caught, and then we kicked him (changed his nickname and removed mod) but lets go baby , he gives us some access to develop our product even better.
Ok, so if I search your username up they will find all your account details?
Vehicle stats and stuff like that? Yeah, I searched myself on there a few times so my stuff is already there.
The stats are all publicly available anyway, All the site does for them is just tell you what changed between each time you where searched and estimates what your average game performance is.
If you are worried about critical details like email no thats not going to be available to rando’s looking you up.
But where do they got all this information from? WT dosen’t even show you all of that.
Back to thunderskill ig
In game you can see your profile which shows all the vehicles you have played and what their stats are, Thats how its able to get that information.
How to take it down? They have no permission to take my information.
You cant, Its all publicly available though searching within the game anyway.
Unless there is a way to private your in game “service record” there is no way to prevent it from being searched.
Edit: Apparently there is, Someone already pointed out the setting below.
