Thoughts on making top-tier SPAA immune to multipathing?

Reduce Mpath altitude significantly. 60m is absurdly forgiving

Its not because trees in this game a 100m tall but you dont care about that do you?

ok and? the whole point of multipath being decreased is that it would be unusable

multipath doesnt need to be decreased, it needs its mechanics implemented (look up at low alt)

and first fix trees

how exactly is a ARH SAM supposed to look up at an aircraft at low altitude exactly

It’s not forgiving in the 3rd person perspective, especially with the average tree height being the upper end of tree heights rather than the real-life average.

In 1st person, simulator, I can see advocating for real multipath heights, because cruising 30 meters above in sim is easier than in 3rd person.

Yeah they invented it to make it work at altitudes where it is easy to fly in a straight line and not get his and shoot missiles at planes above against inverse monopulse seekers when it shouldn’t

Those that can be completely nullified by just breaking LoS to the radar vehicle ?

Having 1-10m MP height is just as good as removing it outright.

If they can give everyone stock chaff in top tier.

why not? actually make people notch… It´s not that hard to notch arh missiles

sure lets remove it. No reason to keep it anyways. Just stay in a notch for a bit till you get a chance to turn in to fire. not much diffrent then arb duels

I completely forgot to mention that all SAM ARH missiles are subsonic above 25km with the exception of the BUK which is already immune to multipathing

Probably wouldn’t be too much of an issue in ground as the missiles are all coming from more or less the same direction, unlike air where they are coming from multiple angles so you cant notch all of them.
And while they are at it they can model the PD returned from heli rotors

Not without ARM and EW Suite implementation.

Without those features Planes cannot get close to enemy ground units with current munitions except KH-38 slingers.

This would cause even more unbalanced environment.
