Just wanted to see what everyone thinks about a few things.
Do you think War Thunder will ever get Electronic Countermeasures (ECM)? We’re getting more modern aircraft every update, so it feels like something that could happen eventually.
Also, with the B-52 being in the game, do you think we’ll ever see newer variants with JDAMs and other guided weapons instead of just dumb bombs?
What about future bombers like the B-1B Lancer, Tu-160, or Tu-22M? Do you think Gaijin will add them.
The GBU-39 used to be usable at much higher release speeds, but now both the GBU-39 and GBU-53 seem limited to around Mach 1.1. Was that a good change, or should it be adjusted?
Curious to hear what everyone thinks.
Gaijin’s selective realism at work, a report with sources was accepted, wording was selected wisely, “for consideration”. First, CMs on the forums go and tell people to bug report inaccuracies, then the bug reporting managers and developers spit in the face of players by just conveniently ignoring bug reports that don’t favour their beliefs.
[DEV] GBU-39 incorrect bomb release speed.

Yes, I think it could be very likely addition this year. Especially if Gen 5s are actually planned sooner rather than later.
Maybe. This issue is one of BR, whilst GBUs wont necessarily have much of an impact in ARB/ASB (though there also isnt much of a place to use them at the moment in either mode) it would increase the BR quite a bit in GRB where they would be of more use and the question is whether or not it would ever make it to a release point.
Personally though, I hope they start by dropping more Strat bombers with unguided bombs like the V-Bombers, Mirage IV, etc etc.
Depends on what sources are available. Probably too low like a lot of bombs on modern aircraft
