For all “БС” modes target altitude is not lower than the interceptor altitude.
Even if target can be lower it doesn’t mean that ground clutter is rejected in this mode.
In “БСВ-dH” mode the radar works in look-down scenario in pulse mode without MTI. If the target closer than the ground surface behind it they can be separated in range and target can be detected.
