It does not deserve to be at 5.7, fighting Tigers and Panthers. It can barely pen the Panther if it’s facing you, and if the Tiger is angled you can’t even pen it. Why is it 5.7? It uses the same chassis as the Chi-To Late and Chi-To, and the same gun with the same rounds. The two main differences are the 37mm gun, which is completely useless with both rounds — the HE can’t do anything with 58g of explosive, and the APHE can’t even pen anything except maybe light tanks, and there are very few of those — and the semi-auto loader, which isn’t even that useful. Also, it constantly gets full uptiers to 6.7, where it’s even more useless, and if you don’t get uptiered to 6.7, you’ll get uptiered to 6.0–6.3.

I liked it better at 5.0 when it had a fun gimmick. Now ot just gets overshadowed by the sherman at the same br
