This is getting annoying. There is no reason for an uptier. If your game is so bad that no one wants to play so you decide to push 3.7s into a 4.7 match, unbalancing the game entirely, then atp shut the game down. There is no reason for my weak ass panzer IV F2 to be going up against up armored KV-1s, where i cant even pen from the side. And dont say its a skill issue, ive been playing this game since 2015 I know how to play, its a genuine game issue. Uptiers need to be removed or tanks need to be correctly tiered.

you can’t just “remove uptiers”, what are you actually suggesting? Are you saying that the BR spread should the ±0???
Maybe not remove uptiers but soft cap some vehicles so that they cant get full uptiers/downtiers
what we need is decompression and vehicles moving

Panzer F2 has like, the most pen for a medium at its BR, although, I do agree with your point for the most part, compression is the larger issue at hand.

If you’re struggling in a long gun pz4 it is a skill issue. the gun is almost as good for penetration as the Tiger 1s 88mm. basically everything is point and click and the rare thing that isn’t has easy weakspots

German players when they come up against a tank they cant point/click.
Kv1 has like 75mm of armor vs your 100mm+ of pen

There are 2 possible solutions to the uptier problem imo.

Reduce MM from being +/- 1.0 BRs to being +/- 0.7 BRs. This reduces the impact of the uptiers notably as most of the time, the issues are vehicles that are a full BR different. This would almost instantly obtain the level of “decompression” most of the community is after.

Introduce ASB style “BR Brackets” to RB. The brackets would change with a reasonable regularity (ASB is every 48 hours, but this could be different for RB, perhaps as often as every 8 hours) and therefore, prior to entering the match, you would know exact what bracket your vehicle/line-up would result in you facing. If the bracket was 3.7-4.7, then you would face only 3.7-4.7 vehicles and most likely, a majority of which will be 4.3/4.7. The next rotation it could be 2.7-3.7 and now you are only facing downtiers.
This is (roughly) what ASB brackets look like currently and its a great system because the “meta” vehicle for one bracket, wont necessarily be the “meta” vehicle for the next and might in fact be one of the weakest vehicles. In ASB at least. its resulted in aircraft that are borderline unplayable due to uptier issues being strong aircraft once again.
(there is also the possibly of doing both. Having the SB style brackets but with 0.7 BR sized brackets )

I reccomend turret cheeks so they cant shoot back. either that or shoot the gun out and track them
You have to take angles into account to. Go for the flattest armor you can hit.
Drastically limiting diversity and making br changes 5-6x worse is not a good idea.
how is making it so a 3.7 vehicle fights 3.7 vehicles a bad idea?? thats literally how the game should work. a 3.7 Panzer IV should fight a 3.7 M4 Sherman. a 10.0 T-72 Should fight a 10.0 M1 Abrams.
I don’t see why the uptier/downtier rounds can’t be changed to be called a Chaos Round so there is a strange mix of vehicles, but the game is upfront about it.
Two reasons
1: much less variety. You would see 1/7th of the amount of vehicles
2: much harder to do br changes. Currently, a br change of 1 step changes the vehicles mm by about 29%.
Doing the same br change under the suggested system would would change its mm by 100%
Along side the much more drastic change, they would basically have to reset all data collected because the old data has no continuation.
“Remove uptiers” is a crazy statement. Decompression is needed, not removal of uptiers. How would that even work? You are 3.7 only playing w/ 3.7? That would make certain BRs literally just dead.
holy skill issue. ive never had a true problem w/ uptiers as Japan- infact the only way to really play the Type 87 RCV (P) is in an uptier it feels like.
