They "Fixed" the rocket spam and did something nefarious aswell

Honestly i couldn’t care less for the rocket spam at higher tiers where you faced F-4 phantoms and the ocasional MiG-27M/K with Mighty Mouses and S-5k rocket pods respectively, i did it for the shit loads of SL, i don’t mind it being gone.

But i can’t believe they nerfed the REWARDS of normal bombs, and changed how napalm works

This seems like such a small issue because there are people here with maxed out tech trees and with freight trains of SL and but then you forget ONE thing

They overall nerfed the Rewards by a HUGE amount all things considered, i’m pretty sure everyone remembers the 30k silver lion rewards for bombing bases with bombs, rockets and napalm.

I remember that before this “fix” the AMX A1A gave around the same 30k reward for using napalm or bombs, i don’t think it had enough rockets to kill a base back then and it certaintlly doesn’t have now, anyway now every premium that can bomb at top tier will only give you around 15k or so as shown in the battle results above

Alright so they slashed the rewards for EVERY type of base bombing at ALL tiers, cause i tested it with the Ju-288C and lower BRs the rewards seem to be about half or so even at those tiers, so it’s not only the premium spammers that get to feel this, EVERY BOMBER in the damn game has half the rewards of before making them even LESS desirable to play, cause now a tech tree bomber will NOT cover it’s repair cost if it survives more than the sl repair cost/minute until it reaches its maximum, here’s an example with the F-111:

To fully cover the repair cost of the F-111 you need to bomb 2 bases, either that or you rush to get to the bases and die so your repair cost is lower than what you gained.

And they “nerfed” napalm, “but they said it’s damage was 13 times lower before!” still if you remember correctly a Su-25 with 4 napalm bombs would kill a base and give around the same reward as a normal 500kg bombs but with the benefit of being a bit lighter, it killed a base INSTANTLY.

What does it do now then?

After the napalm touches the base it does around 50ish% or so of the damage to kill a base, after that it’s the constant tick that will kill the base, and because technically you are “damaging” the base for a longer period of time and doing more “damage” you will in the end get more SL out of it, here is my proof

You get around 1.5 times (150%) the rewards of normal dumb bombs (compared to the F-4S results of earlier)

Also it seems that you technically are killing 2 bases by destroying ONE with napalm.

So where do i want to get with this?

They NEED to revert the SL reduction to killing a base with normal dumb bombs, I COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT THE ROCKET NERF i think it was good for the health of top tier and DO. NOT. TOUCH. the rewards of napalm to make it worse it’s fine as is unless you make it how it was before the fix and you kill a base instantly and now your rewards are the same of dumb bombs, that meaning 30k silver lions per base at top tier premium level and adjusted accordingly to each SL rewards %

And why did they do this?

Large bombs got a slight buff, tiny bombs god a slight nerf to large bomb levels.
Napalm rewards seem the same.

Im glad rocket spam got pwned, i hate people that do it im just trying to suffer britain in peace

I honestly don’t think so, cause the F-111 with 2 3000lbs bombs got around 15k per BASE before the nerf now you need to bomb 2 bases to get that reward, they DEFINITELY nerfed the bombing rewards

Mildly off topic but imagine how busted the Yasser rockets on the F-14 would be if they didn’t fix it. You’d only need one per base and the explosives would mean you’d get an insane amount of SL and RP.
