I think War Thunder should add a special radio message for disabled enemy vehicles/components during tank battles.
Here’s how it could work:
After damaging a critical enemy component (gun barrel, cannon breach, engine, tracks, turret drive, etc.), the player gets a short time window to use a new command like “Callout Disabled Enemy.”
When activated:
- The enemy’s last known position is pinged on the map.
- Your crew says a contextual voice line such as:
“Enemy Main Gun destroyed!”
“Enemy Engine disabled!”
“Target Track disabled!”
- Teammates are informed that the enemy is vulnerable but not destroyed.
This would improve teamwork in Ground RB/SB without requiring voice chat or actively writing in chat. Would make coordinated pushes far easier.
The feature could reuse the existing scouting/attention-to-map system, so it would fit naturally into the current gameplay.

I am at this time unaware if its a excisting suggestion.
Aren’t u a suggestion mod tho?
anyways I like this idea so numbskulls quit shooting the Gunner I knocked out 0.5s ago instead of helping take out the vehicle
Not a mod since like winter

Ok, u have been a mod the whole time I’ve known u on forum so I assumed u had been one for a while :P
wait did u leave the suggestion mod team?
Got booted for being too persistant about already excisting issues and using the public area of the forum to criticise the game.
Darn, so it wasn’t even anything to do with suggestions, just your other activity on the forum :(
thought about this for a while, in game crew/radio chatter would help with general teamwork, voice lines for friendly tanks getting hit and hitting/destroying enemies and spotting
would also be nice for atmosphere and immersion too
I do like it, however I’m a little concerned about information overload, it would need to only call out major damage and probably need to be range limited (tied it into the radio comms crew skill) so you where not being spammed buy every player on the map.
Maybe they could put the damaged/ destroyed module icons over the enemy icon on the mini map as well, but they might be too small to see properly.
