There is absoultely no counterplay against Kh-38MT in helicopter

Basically they are instant death button against every helis
It’s imaging infrared, so the missile couldn’t care less about flares
There is no smoke screen on any helis, so hiding isn’t an option for most cases

PARS and SPIKEs are Imaging infrared too, but they are slow, so going cold can defeat them. Mavericks are IIR, but it can be missed dut to their low energy reserve. But Kh-38MT? it has stupendous range with mach 2 capable.

Longbow hellfires are ‘too powerful’ to be in game, saying MULTIPLE TIMES that weapon has no counterplay shouldn’t be introduced in game. So what could possibly justify presense of Kh-38MT?

Speaking of which, SU-34 will have six of it. So enjoy.

What does matter if the weapon has 40 km lock range but in most map is effect in almost half or less of the distance?

You mentioned helicopters, but who in their sane mind would use a Kh38MT against a helicopter?

You can consider USA and Israel has a lot of IR and TV guided air-ground missiles in lower BR, not a single soul complain about it in the forums.

Speechless.

Yes, I’m speechless you comparing PARS and SPIKE with a Kh38MT, which has a totally different paper.

I’m not even comparing these. pointing out there is no counterplay against it. Seems you don’t even have a notion of POINT and TRACK lock, let me introduce to you about it. you have to to TRACK lock to hit a moving target. and TRACK lock on IIR missiles still have 10~ish range. I said everything to you

I dunno, maybe somebody who wants to use their CAS usefully and save their team from an onslaught of Spike or PARS 3 LR F&F missiles. Your response here is absolutely absurd. To the point I think you are trolling.

“who would use (weapon) against (relevant adversary)?”
insert: APFSDS, light tank
ATGM, helicopter
GPS guided bomb, SPAA (emphasis on self propelled)
SAM, ground vehicle

All of this stuff works ingame. As it should. Exploiting weird capabilities is literally 50% the fun of this game and why its detailed modelling is so interesting. It lets you take “what ifs” and punch your enemy in the face with them.

I guess they must really want that heli dead.

Yup. A10 and a6e sitting outside of spaa range but somehow, only russia has cas that can do it.

Yeah, that is average range. On maps that are not super cluttered, you can lock out to 13-14ish km

Me using agm65 as a gimick aim9l

I think either other nations’ F&F AGM with similar range shall be added or KH38MT shall be removed.

It’s very simple. After all, the user country that operates KH38MT is 🇷🇺, so Gaijin can turn a blind eye to KH38MT’s ability to attack outside the effective range of the NATO air Defence system.
The only thing KH38MT needs to be afraid of is Russia’s own S1 air Defence system. Therefore, either Gaijin stops the double standard, deletes KH38 or gives the NATO countries an air Defence system at the same level as S1 or the Defence strike capability at the same level as KH38.
Before Su34 joined the game, Gaijin could also use Su25 to carry only four Kh38s and Su25 could not fly at supersonic speed to deceive himself to deceive players. Now Su34 is enough to expose these lies made up by Gaijin, making its previous words and deeds a joke.

except for the fact they now all have a higher ground br because of all the complaints but ok

Welp, quite common tactic in GSB - kid, who died in Pantsir for an Apache takes 38MT and trying to get revenge.
