No! It has many. To name a few P-51D-30, Fw-190D (Probably Ta-152 as well but haven’t tried them yet), DO-335B2, F82, Spitfire Mk9, Ki-84 (I’d imagine this would be fine against it). Granted were also not looking at the 6.7 aircraft it can face too.
alright, all of the aircraft that the yak3u can face are its only threats.
If you get dogged on a yak3u it’s either a skill issue or god awful teammates, the yak3u feels like a god damn afterburning jet on prop numbers.
What r u smoking brother, have you ever dog-fight-ed or even been in close range of 108? If even one Minengeshoß hits you, your back to the hangar, that’s why I love it.
I’ve been on both ends of the MK108 and it is hilariously easy to dodge. Sure it’s great if you hit, but it’s a bigger IF for that one than pretty much any 20mm.
i did, and these flying the yak3u just keep pitching up onto people flying 890kmh and still managing to catch up because as a russian plane it doesn’t care about energy differentials, and as a yak3u, it cares even less about it. Yak3u is pretty much untouchable. 680kmh on the deck, two of the hardest hitting guns in the entire game (as a whole, harder than defa and harder than ho155) and very good high speed handling. I’ve reversed spitfires and sea furies in it constantly.
The problem with every Yak in the game: unrealistic energy retention. They can turn-fight horizontally and not lose energy. Not to mention they can pull 20G turns with no damage.
