The Yak-3U is a major threat to most 4.7-5.7 aircraft and it’s only true enemy is the f2g itself, because 50 cals have some magic code that deems you dead the moment you smoothly belly land with just a yellow wing.

No! It has many. To name a few P-51D-30, Fw-190D (Probably Ta-152 as well but haven’t tried them yet), DO-335B2, F82, Spitfire Mk9, Ki-84 (I’d imagine this would be fine against it). Granted were also not looking at the 6.7 aircraft it can face too.
In conclusion- Yes Yak-3U is major enemy of most airacraft at it’s BR range but it can also get absolutely dogged on too

YaK-3 is mid at best. Anything with 30mm’s in the BR range, all German of course, are good.
Yep! It’s a hard one alright. But any experienced pilot can nail it. There are also other planes that are just as good if not slightly better. Some of the spitfires can go toe to toe with it and I’m sure there are some Japanese planes that rival it’s turn time. It’s just a matter of learning how to maneuver against it or finding the best plane to fly at that br

alright, all of the aircraft that the yak3u can face are its only threats.
If you get dogged on a yak3u it’s either a skill issue or god awful teammates, the yak3u feels like a god damn afterburning jet on prop numbers.

Again, simply don’t fly into their guns and there is no way a 335 (any 335) can get guns on a 3U and hit.
That’s not saying much. By that measure, the few times I’ve killed Su25s and A10s in props mean they’re a threat - they’re not

I’ve been on both ends of the MK108 and it is hilariously easy to dodge. Sure it’s great if you hit, but it’s a bigger IF for that one than pretty much any 20mm.
