I always see Chinese and Taiwanese people fighting in chat if there one… sending death threat and this is just unacceptable that Gaijin did nothing to make sure the chat are safer…
Short answer is that more and more of the older generation are leaving the game due to unsavoury decisions from gaijin, making space for tons of kids, and just looking at the average ARB chat these days is a sign of that, a massive chunk of the playerbase has transitioned into properly young children and they often get their parents to shill out for the top tier premiums that keep crippling teams too
A case can also be made for the increasingly politicised nature of the world, and how that has a toll on internet users especially, but I’m no psychologist so I’m not really qualified to talk about societal shifts

I think gooner stuff had been around for a long time, especially on wt live with all the anime skins and sound mods. As for furries, I haven’t seen much of that ig tho, except maybe the JASDF dakimakura, which is basically their a mascot. Yea gaijin focusing on anime stuff is a bit troubling but at least the tank themselves aren’t like full on anime skin.
At the end of the day, wt is a military game with vehicles from many nations, so it’s not surprising that some players are nationalistic. Focusing only on one or two countries is kinda moot when there’s toxicity, and racism from all over the player base.

What are you talking about ? Chat is as safe as it can be right now… if there are abuses, then make sure they are reported and they will be actioned… in many cases it can lead to life time chat bans and even accounts suspended…
