The VT-4A1 outclasses the Abrams in mobility, firepower, and export versatility. Change my mind.

US vehicles imo, tend to be good, but not as good as they could be, because they often opt for mass production over absolute max quality.
Why build a really good tank when you can build 10 okay tanks.
Though I know very ltitle about the VT-4A1 so. I wont go beyond that
Firepower?? Just because the Abrams in game doesn’t get access to its modern APFSDS and armor doesn’t mean it doesn’t have it IRL

Compared to which Abrams? VT4 has a longer Reload, worse Darts and Cannon, worse Engine, worse gun depression, worse Armour with many One-Hit Weakspots…the VT4A1 only good thing is the APS. VT4 is just bad; theres zero reason to even field it at all.

OP Post aged even worse now with the Thai-Cambodia Conflict. Thai Army officially confirmed they rather use the M60s than the VT4 because it constantly breaks down like an WW2 Tank and even if works is just bad
Guns breaking not all tank.
All these years they have trained with them and uses the gun barrels life.
When they went on the fight, gun started to just lose their power and break as the thai army has been using them as artillery close range.
M60 also are far worse and only for defense.

Abrams is for hills, VT-4 for urban areas. Which maps you encounter often? yeah. I would say Abrams is better cuz of mobility, handling and reload. Btw, if u don´t want headache, use M1A2T (better teamates).
