The Visegrád Group Tree (PL, CZ, HU, SK): European Powerhouse

Is this finally coming?

Not sure how exactly you want it coming if Hungary is in Italy.

Hungary once was in Germany. Just like Italy. It just will be hidden if they decide to make a V4 tree. Or replace them with other nations vehicles, like for example Romanian ZSU-57-2 could replace the Hungarian one.

Definitely won’t be, Gaijin still activity adds Hungarian vehicles to Italy.

In the moment they decide to add V4, it would take about one year to research and model the vehicles they would implement at the first time and then years to make the tree looking something like one of the trees here.
Yes, they are actively adding Hun tech to Italy at the moment, so we can be kinda sure that in this moment developers think Hungary is and will be part of the Italian tree.
At the same time there is a small part of the community here that advertises this idea and try to change developers’ (and other players’) minds about it. We dont know for how many years WT will be popular and supported by Gaijin, but if long enough, then V4 tree is still possible, as we will run out of tech and there will be no more ways to keep adding stuff except introducing new trees. One of which could be V4. It doesnt matter if Hungary has to be removed from Italy.

I want to suggest an event vehicle for this tech tree:

The third prototype Technology Demonstrator of the Rosomak 8×8 with a Cockerill turret:

When Cockerill was invited for the trials, they brought with them 2 turrets: the XC-8-105HP and the XC-8-120HP. Early-on in development of the program was it decided to go for the Cockerill 120 mm HP gun instead of the 105 mm HP. Luckily the first prototype of this project had the first turret fitted, which is where this picture comes from (including the very recognisable polish camouflage used on Rosomak vehicles from this period).

But the KTO Rosomak WWO Wilk should definitely be chosen over this one if gaijin had to choose. ;)

Romania should probably be in place for Hungary for this tree. Though now that Italy has the Romanian OSA, they’ll probably go to Italy too which is a shame. Unless they do a switcharoo before they add a whole line. If there was a way to have Hungary play on WARSAW side like many other European nations, that would be cool but another mechanic on it’s own. As it is though, Hungary is fine in the Italian tree considering alliances during WW2 and modern relations. Recently polish-hungarian relations have been a bit finicky.

Slovakia may purchase CV90120-T’s instead of Leopards. I’ve seen quite a few articles on the matter.

So will the Czeck Republic possibly, they are considering modernising their T-72 fleet instead

Where did you hear that?
The Leopard 2A8 acquisition should still continue either at a later date, or the defense budget will be increased (as suggested by the Czech president).

And there are no plans to upgrade any T-72s because most of the ≈89 T-72M1s that were in good condition were sent to Ukraine, and the 30 T-72M4CZs recently went through midlife refurbishment and will be put into the reserves.
If we upgrade anything, it would be the 42 Leopard 2A4s, maybe to something similar to the Leopard 2PL.

the Hungary solution.

Im waiting for the air tree because it will be really intersting, only from Poland we would Have MIG-29A/G and MiG-29UB for early 4 gen and we would have modernised MiGs and also Fa-50, F-16s.
