not sure I really understand the complaint here … ? these vehicle placements on tech trees are more about improving the experience or providing player choice and little to do with politics.
especially for unique variants - small nation subtrees and even lend lease-esk vehicles like the current Iranian F14. A great example was previously hungary was placed in the Italian tech tree - which as someone who has played itally before the subtree and even more since the addition has greatly improved the experience.
I just want free infinite Golden Eagles. 🙏

Did you even do any research? We supplied Iran with the F-14, but they did not produce it not that they could their industry is non-existent to this day. Oh and the only reason we gave them it, was a gift. It was mostly to hope that relations with countries in the Middle East and other countries would not lead to more wars.

• and longer range, but slower acceleration

Once again, the F-14 was an American aircraft, given to the Iranians. I really don’t get why this is so hard to comprehend. Iranians did not capture it.

Says who? It’s the only logical place for them unless it comes in a form of subtree for some other nation like Hungary in the Italian TT for example.

The F-14 is an American designed and made aircraft. Since we do not have an Iranian tree or sub tree, like every other vehicle in this instance it is added to the most reliant tree to the vehicle. Which in this case is the US.
