More reason to keep this variant and put the Ho-Ri II. If it is that non-existant, just as the Keolian, (both just wooden replica), take it out. But the current variant did showed up.

I’m opposed to Gaijin taking vehicles away from players that grinded for it. So for those who have it, it should stay. But as I stated in my “Clearing the Air” section, both Ho-Ri vehicles we have in the game are fake and are based on doctored drawings

But they don’t delete vehicles from account which got it

R2Y2 weren’t deleted

all they do is remove it from research for users who didn’t get it, the original owners can still use it and those who put research in it can still get it.

It wouldn’t be tken from player who played it. I see still often Fpz 341 and tiger KwK 10,5, it’s just not accessible anymore for player to grind. But anyone who already have it can stil play it. And I mean, they say when it’s going to be taken away. you still have time to grind for it. And I’m pretty sure no one every grinded JPN for a mid-tier tank; everyone plays it because of the zero’s or the 4s toptier. Ho-Ri Prod is a ‘hidden gem’, I’ll say.

And this ‘semi-historical’ heavy tank at the end of WW2 ERA is for me the best place for ‘mythical tanks’ such as the E-100, AMX-50 surblindé, or Is-7. We all know them because they are rare, good, and most of the time very experienced.

They should fix the Ho-Ri I and add this. I don’t see the issue with 2 different Ho-Ri Is with the different guns, but the production is on the same level as the tiger 105, something that was proposed. Then again, it would actually be nice if they brought those back.
A unique ww2 era vehicle instead of copy paste should be the standard, even if it was only in planning. There are odd double standards about “realism” in this game. Realism for thee but not for me. Of course axis nations being at the short end of the stick when vehicles like e.g. P.43 would really help flesh out the Italian tree instead of all the shermans.

No. Production variant is fake which hasn’t mentioned in any document with current stats

Only prototype one can be called the planned variant but as it is known, real planned variant is the middle placed turret as written here. So Prototype is also not really “planned”

It is even impossible with for example 1100hp tank engine and etc

If they are going to remove it Ho-ri should get a Maus treatment and come back every year.

I don’t mean the engine. I agree that should be fixed. The lower performance could also help drop their BRs. I’m talking about the long gun that wasn’t chosen for the ho-ri, only considered.
The naming scheme is a bit confusing, but I think the long gun ho-ri is valid.

This one is already in-game (ha-go commander)

applies to aircraft as well.
ho-229 and yak 141 for example

Well yes, I should mention I’m the proud owner of the Flakpanzer, Panther II, and Maus.

I’m just saying for those who are calling for the total removal of the Ho-Ris we have in WT

You know what the solution was for “fictional vehicles” was?

go luft´46 and give everyone 3-4 paper vehicles, make them shit and boom, no one would be mad.

The current Ho-Ri models would need more than just an engine power nerf. They aren’t that authentic to the rear-casemate proposals. They would need to get remodeled and have several stat changes.

Less so, aircraft and tanks have stricter requirements than just complete drawings.

yep but the image backs up they had smoke launcher too bad they seemed to have never placed them on other tanks like Chi-He or Chi-Ha Kai. Smoke might have improved some survivability but truth be told for warthunder Japan tree players don’t lean on the smoke launchers too much.

The difference is that the Ho-Ris were being developed. Parts and other bits were built; the Chi-Ri also exists, which is about 85% of what the Ho-Ris are.
Your entire argument falls apart, as the Koelian is nothing but wood. Nothing was built for it, not the hull, not the turret, not the gears, not the cranks, nothing.

There is a picture i cannot find of 5 discharges pointed flat 180 forward on the roof of a Chi-Ha, unclear which model, likely the 57mm though a 47mm would be a thing
