The truth about US planes in Air RB

Nope, its the planes.

you have a long history of complaining about very strong USA vehicles being bad, due to your own poor performance in them.

so what is it you would do? The easiest fix would be giving them a slight air spawn because that’s how they would end up in the AO anyway. They wouldn’t climb from 30 miles out. The games just a fucked design and needs complete re-evaluation from the ground up. They need to go back to historical battles because this is a WW2-Modern vehicle combat game, not esports.

also. you clearly havent flown the P38s in a while. The roll rate is on par with a mosquito, or Bf-110

Gamemode reworks that aren’t 1 life ramming into each other at full speed at 3000-4000 meters alt with games ending in 5-7 minutes flat.

You would make them overpowered as I already said. They are currently only really being restricted by this climb rate issue. If they no longer have a climb rate issue, they no longer have issues just dominating. Small things like the rudders on P-51s will not matter if you can consistently be above the opposition in a plane that is untouchable when its above the opposition.

And the poor performance of pretty much everyone who plays em.

I have to 4.3+ on most nations, and U.S. certainly had the worst planes out of any of em.

It’s more what I said.

so then give everyone air spawn, and then give everyone a certain altitude based on historical implementation. 109s / FW190s on one side, with P51s and P47s, both spawning at 20k ft. bombers at 25k (after massive rework for bombers). if you spawn with ordinance you spawn closer to the ground.

this takes the bitching out of both sides.

have you heard of the F4U Corsair, the P-51H or the P-39?

Lol no. The only players that think U.S. props are good are noobs who never played em. Even most tryhard pros who have almost exclusively games on U.S. planes and have pretty much mastered them admit that they’re not very good.

You wanna show us his service record on US props?

Literally nothing changes, exact same issues occur. American planes end up higher than everybody else painlessly and just bnz everybody to death without real counters.

Gaijin doesn’t even do historical matchmaking anymore regarding the matchmaker. It literally will never try to put you in an allies v axis or nato v warsaw match anymore. So you can’t balance around the idea that there will be some sort of counter existing on the enemy team unless you also change the matchmaker fundamentally from what it is now. I think the game is far worse with the current matchmaker than the older allies v axis one.

Sounds like non-sense, especially considering I am one of the better players in the game and I think their literal only issue are the teams.

Me when UK, JP & USSR are on the same team at low tier Air RB on a consistent basis for no reason.

Players that very aggressively call U.S. props OP typically have very bad stats in U.S. props.

For example, RunaDacino has 114 deaths to 56 kills in F8F-1, but 16 deaths to 29 kills in Yak-9.

Heck your stats even make U.S. planes look bad.

50 deaths 62 kills in P-51H-5 v.s 59 deaths 144 kills in Fw 190D-13

Spoiler

Your F8F and P-47 stats also look poor, but they have a lot of ground kills so it would be dishonest to say your stats in em accurately reflect ARB.

Almost like I played the planes in 2017. You can look at the planes in france/italy that are shared with the USA and use those stats since I actually played them recently.

US players after trying to turn fight a zero in a p47

I agree that USA planes are optimized for high altitude, which dose put them at a disadvantage with how WT matches typically go, but they can still preform decently without climbing into space, the issue is players either commit to climbing as high as possible, even if that results in flying face 1st into a Fw-190 at <300kph or they give up on climbing completely and get into extended turn fights at low altitude with spitfires and zeros.
So the situation is compounded by bad players that take a plane that is already at a disadvantage, then play it in the worst possible way to maximize that disadvantage.

You are over thinking it, they get airspawns because they are classed as attackers and Gaijin said attackers get airspawns until rank six where they are too OP to get airspawns… and if individual attackers are OP below rank 6 or suffers at/ or above it, to bad because actually basing it on the plane, case by case, would take effort (except the XP-50… RIP it)

The ta152H for example is not an attacker, I recognize you are talking about A8 though.

I was thinking of the F8 the attacker variant, I didn’t realize the A8 was classed as an interceptor, my mistake.

We’re both actually being a bit silly, but regardless yea the A8 and 152H airspawns as interceptors and the F8 as an attacker
