What players can’t do, I’ve seen people complaining that they didn’t know there was an Aim-54 in the air
Nope
Unfortunately keybinds are like, 80% based on personal preference rather than any objective “best” keybind setup
Yeah, but please go buy this shiny new premium for 80 bucks, that’ll fix your issues!!! Look at the epc trailer!!111!

The game’s monetization system is literally just there to frustrate players into buying premiums.
I saw a player make a breakdown of what Gaijin in Hungary makes and it’s like 80 Mil straight profit at like 150 Mil revenue.
Gaijin could make this game insanely good, but why do that if you can instead frustrate people into buying like 200 bucks worth of premiums on sale 50% if they want to grind a singlar tech tree?
???, you dont need buy premiuns men
yes there is
its mine

“You don’t need to buy a hammer, just use your skull” is what you are saying here.
The game at higher tiers is a literal second job, even with a premium account. Yes, you can argue that the game doesn’t need to be played with high tier vehicles, but last time I checked, the marketing material seems to be Tomcats, Fulcrums and Tornados and not Biplanes.
There are people that wanna play the tanks they served in. There are people that came here to fly F16 or play a Leopard because that’s what their dad or mom is doing their service in. The game hooks you on stuff from the 70s and then you start with interwar vehicles and have to slog through like 40 vehicles if you wanna get a thing that’s been produced in th last 50 years.
Not really the point i was making. Free to play games kinda need frustration to pull people towards monetization otherwise no one would ever spend money.
My problem is that even when you buy something in this game then it doesnt really give you the tools to properly use what you bought.
Im not against people buying high tier premiums. Im against them ruining the game experience, because Gaijin just lets them loose onto the entire community without properly preparing them.
Having said that, i absolutely do think that some of the older monetization features like crew levels, prem time and especially free RP need a rework. 45RP per Ge is criminal in 2026
?? You just need a premium account, for planes, it’s more complicated in ground , but in the air literally it’s the time until Space 1 plane the one in front is unlocked.
Warframe is a game that disproves that point.
Most stuff is achievable through minimum grinding, nearly everything can be bought by selling farmed rare items to other players. Farming can be done at your pace, events are gererally very forgiving in their timeline. The only thing that is not achievable F2P is paid cosmetics made by community members.
In War Thunder you have to get 4 googol points in like 25 days in order to even have a chance to sell an event vehicle.
The game does give you the basics and from thereon introduces mechanics slowly, if you go from 2.0 straight to 14.0 by buying yourself there, then that’s on you.
Can you for that into a readable sentence or did grok just break?
ahahahahahah Mastery level is one of the most grindy things I’ve ever seen in my life

Yes please teach me on how to perform like you.
Statshark argument i love it
Prove me wrong I guess?
So far all I’ve seen from you is that you can’t form a coherent sentence and that you have worse stats than me.
I don’t have to prove anything. I’m not the one saying it’s impossible to have top-tier vehicles without premium vehicles, especially since you can unlock a Rank 9 vehicle in 40 5-minute battles.
I mean im not really familiar with Warframe to be honest but afaik they have a prem currency as well right?
On paper you can achieve everything in WT without spending money as well. Sure the grind sucks but war thunder cant monetize things like cosmetics as well as games like warframe can.
No it doesnt. At least not properly. If you grind the entire tree from 1.0 to 13.0 and then you get your first Fox 3 plane your entire play style shifts and the game does nothing to explain anything besides the most bare bones chaff tutorial in existence.
If the game offers a product to buy then it needs to explain properly how to use the product.
I have never said that the grind is impossible. But even with premium vehicles and premium time I average like 10K RP, which from my experience is quite a lot and not at all what the average is.
Top tier tanks are 400k RP, so in an “ideal” scenario you’re looking at at least 40 games at around 10-15 minutes. Add load times etc and you are looking at 20-25 minutes.
That’s 13.2-16.7 hours in an “ideal” scenario. Without premium account, you gain 50% of that. Without a premium, you gain 50% of that. You get 25% of the rewards, increasing the time to just around 53-67 hours.
Just two and a half workweeks and then you have your shiny tank, wohoo.
What??? Man, I researched the F-18 Super Hornet in 3 hours just using research boosts and tech tree planes.
If your average with premium vehicles and a premium account is 10K RP, that’s a serious problem. On the ground, 10k per battle is fine, but in the air, it’s not enough
Ah yes, my favourite tank, the F-18 Hornet.
