The truth about "unskilled players"

@H_ngma wrong reply mb john
Score will positively affect you probably, unless they just subtract the avg score earned from killing AIs from the overall avg score?
but it’s such a small thing that won’t really matter like John said.

Not to mention SR1 relies on WR as well as KPS too

Just checked, statshark KPS is player. You can see here I have a 1.8 player KPS in both leaderboard and statshark monthly:

But since I don’t kill a lot of AI to begin with, let’s use someone with higher AI % like tokerstar:

You can see it didn’t count his additional 0.13 ai killed per spawn. If it counted, it’d have been 1.21.

Filtering the score could be an option but would probably be too much work for it to be worth.

And like i said im not saying at all that the top leaderboard guys are super padding their stats with AI just that the SR1 rating could be influenced by AI kills to some degree by the score part of its calculation, not the KPS part.
But like you and @John_Do2002 already said, its probably miniscule compared to the other factors and for ground AI doesnt really play a role in the first place.
But having written that, base bombing can give a ton of score so maybe Statshark does actually filter score, because counting that would be insanely scuffed.

To clarify one thing though. Low tier does NOT teach you high tier.
This is especially true when it comes from transitioning from props to top tier modern jets.

It’s not a requirement as low tier props don’t teach you jets, you have to learn that envrionment and that plane for that echelon of the game.

In that gamemode it arguably doesn’t matter where you start from.

Its just better to build the skills of controlling your aircraft, understanding how the game’s logic works and basic concepts in a much less chaotic and controlled environment that is low tier than in high tier where you have to consider missiles and such. You don’t NEED to start from low tier, but it doesn’t change the fact its a more slow-paced and decently balanced environment (or atleast, more balanced) thats better to learn the basics needed for high and low tier.

^If you start from the 13.3 Flankers for example, you have to learn all of that while also considering missiles, notching, multipathing, etc. Its more to learn in a more punishing environment.

gunnery, general game flow, energy managment, situational awarness are all things better taught when the enemy cant molest 6 people at once in span of 5 seconds while crossing 10km distance in few seconds.

Yeah, low tier is good for the absolute overall basics.
Then there comes the specific skills needed for each tier specifically which you then need to learn when playing it

oh, absolutely. I meant to emphasize what zulizila said - that for example if new player jumps straight to MK2/MKK, he has to learn basics on top of everyone spamming ARHs at him.

Any other complicated game like DCS (for example) you can start from a prop or a jet, one doesn’t neccessarily teach you the other. So the idea of requiring one for the other is still overall silly.

One will be more intense than the other in different ways, which is just the reality of it.
The idea of it being gatekept in a way just doesn’t make sense too me at all, and is only that way because the game is structured in a grinding format.

Which is different between higher tier jets and props, you’ll still have to learn it regardless. If you want to focus on high tier jets, then that is where you should put your time.

I never said require, I just said that high tier is less beginner friendly because its more chaotic when trying to learn the basics.

Which is true, it is.

nah a p51 with 2,700 ft per second gun volocity vs gun with 3,450 ft/s (f16 gun)
knife vs laser

all that playing low tier for hours as training just to get blinded by a mach 5 missile top down no amount of playing with prop p51 sword fights will help with a gun fight

patrol boat vs type 055

I love how everyone saying “just play props” has over 5k games in a jet with missiles and has been learning notching and positioning for years unlike me actually that has near equal stats (sessions ₛₒₘₑ) and has only played VIII for 3 months props not taking any credit🥀

Me:

I used most recent sessions any other old 3 month old data your about to bring think again I don’t see a massive gap in skill but I suppose stat shark is baised lately lol

your 3 games is somehow comparable to almost 30? If you want to lie with bad statistics (as always) at least make an attempt beyond high school level.

For example, your last 100-ish games in both hornet and mkk:

My last 100 CF-188 games:

No. You are not good. Literally the prime example of the Dunning-Kruger effect: a bad player who’s convinced he’s good

91 games still positive K/d and winrate (this is sessions ) your gap for playing 5 years more than me is pretty low

We can see your KD consistently hover below 1. Don’t bullshit us. You had 2 good sessions then proceed to use it to cover up that you sucked consistently elsewhere.

You’re still negative in many of your most used planes beside MKK (literally the most handheld 13.3). That’s not indicative you’re a good player. That’s indicative of the plane being able to carry your dead weight.

if your going to stat shame use recent data not something from August when I got the jets and started top VII and missiles coming from 9.7 USA ground vs you who have been playing for years and we are getting same stat shark colors I didn’t make stat shark complain to them not me

when I play 400 bad games 230 good the stats will stay bad learn math and talk to me after its how ratios and division work

Last 100 games is recent. You using only 10 games at best is not.

Funny from the guy who is negative in every vehicle bar the MKK. Isn’t it weird that every vehicle regardless of rank is negative? Almost like, let’s admit it, you’re a bad player.
