The T20 does not deserve a 6.0 BR

Friendly reminder that the closest thing to the R3 T20 is the Type 87 RCV(P) and it sits at 7.7.

The R3 belongs above 7.0, players who think otherwise are delusional or biased towards the R3

This thread is talking about the American Premium T20 medium tank my guy.

Aw shucks, muh bad

To me the T20 being at 6.0 doesn’t make a lot of sense. You have the 76mm Shermans and Jumbos at 5.3 so you don’t have to fight Tiger 2s and early Cold War tanks.

The T20 at 6.0 has basically the same hull armor thickness as a M4A2 with worse turret armor, but it has to fight against 6.7-7.0 tanks with just the regular M62 shell. There’s a lot of tanks I can’t pen frontally when I play the T20 and almost everything 5.7-6.3 rips through you in one hit.

Other American tanks at the 6.0 range have the 90mm gun or the M41A1 which has APDS rounds to justify the higher BR.

Unless you’re playing AB, then the Jumbo is 5.7, and the 5.3 Sherman is significantly less mobile than the T20.

Not only does the T20 have a higher reverse speed, it also just has better acceleration than any medium tank before it on the US tech tree.

Yeah, but so does the M18. lol

And it’s 5.3 on ab too.

Except the M18 isn’t a medium tank, and dies to an HE round that looks at it funny (and doesn’t have a stabilizer).

I don’t play AB, so it’s likely the T20 isn’t worth using there, but in RB it’s a very nice tank as it stands.

T20 cant be destroyed by planes machineguns or HE, his commander is not exposed outside of the tank and have a extremly usefull stabilizer.
Is perfectly fine in 6.0.

It plays like a M41 with stabilizer and APHE. Pretty accurate statement about the M41, which would be 10 times more effective if it wasn’t for solid shot damage.

Otherwise it’s a better armored M41 that is more likely to blow up vehicles in a single shot.

Wasn’t this bug reported? Has it still not made it live yet?

Yes, bug reported by me and fixed.

They uptiering it again. 6.3.

Seems like Gaijin is insistent on having the T20 fight against IS-3s. Once again, the moment a american mid-tier tank shows just a bit of competency it gets uptiered.

I’d just like to point out that according to Thunderskill, the T20 is on a 70% winrate with an average of 4.7 kills per match and a average K/D ratio of 4.6 - 1.

Gaijin cares only about stats, and the stats for the T20 are obscene.

Honestly, whenever someone talks how the T20 is overtiered I put it into 0.3 higher BR battles and performed addequate.

According to thunderskills, a lot of 6.7 and 7.0 heavies also have insanely good stats, with the exception of the IS-2 1944, which shouldn’t be considered equal to a Tiger II H or T26E5.

This is all because of russian streamer 4CB, he made total party kill on T20.

Great work. o7

Unrelated to you, but looks like Gaijin are uptiering it to 6.3. Boo.

Literally not going to play this tank ever again at 6.3. It’s literally a bargain bin T-44.

You do realize that a whole lot of vehicle went up in BR while the T20 stayed at 6.0?

T-44, M26, Tigers, Panthers, IS-2, Tiger II P. They are all 0.3 higher than they used to be while the T20 didn’t move.

It makes almost no difference to have the T20 at 6.3 compared to before. It also now boosts better mobilty, so it’s simply deserved.

If enough people complain, I’m sure Gaijin will even give it smoke and APCR ;)
