The subtree of Polish helicopters

I did play a lot with Germany, yes, but I won’t shy away from any other nation either as long as they offer something interesting and unique to play:

I also went through the French helicopter tree just to experience the S.A.341 Gazelles (and hopefully more BeNeLux helicopters will join in as well):

I also did progress a good chunk of the tree towards Japan:

But I will prefer them to have more Asian-oriented vehicles in their tree and as long as this is possible, I will prefer Gaijin to make this approach. Putting Poland in Japan would limit others to join their Tech Tree and I would prefer not to.

And I said Poland would rather go well with Germany since we have already vehicles with them and the socio-economical relationship for it, another alternative would be Russia (since it was a Warsaw pact country and under USSR influence in the Cold War) but nowadays their relationship is a bit… tense.

I can tell you as a Polish person that putting Poland in Germany is a horrible idea. People still remember what happened in World War 2. No one in their right mind would be fine with this. Besides Germany is already getting Switzerland so that should solve the German Air problem.

I am aware about that and I won’t deny the brutal ocupation of Germany during WW2 in Poland, in the same time I am aware about USSR’s occupation as well and the Communist regime imposed after the war into Poland, like most Eastern Europe countries behind the Iron Courtain.
But Poland is more tied to these 2 countries from a military point of view and Japan seems more of a weird stretch.
If we take all these aspects into account, maybe it would make more sense for Poland to be in a Eastern Block independent tree - but as it happened in the past with previous ones (Italy, France, Israel, Sweden) the game might extend too much and this tree might end up mostly unplayed. Especially if it ends up with too many gaps in BRs.

Hard no for Japan subtree. But hard yes for German subtree.

It doesn’t have a place in Japan as well. The connection between the two in terms of military equipment is almost non existent. Poland could work on it’s own but if it has to be a subtree then France or Britain are the way to go.

Japan does NOT need more opporunities for copy paste.

Copy and paste how?

All of these are unique variants or even fully domestic helicopters…

Sure, Japan wouldn’t exactly be my pick for where these would go considering there is other much more reasonable options for that, but these would all be really good options for a future Polish tree.

They’re not all unique. Besides, we all know that if Gajin added a polish tree or subtree, it would be filled with copy paste. The few “Polish” vehicles in the game already are just premium reskins of vehicles already ingame.

Well the Heli tech tree for sure is more unique than Japan’s

The guy on the right looks like the pogface guy.

Doesn’t look bad to me. That’s 6 fully unique domestic helicopters, 2 unique polish variants and 3 import helicopters that would still be new to the game.

S-70i is also polish produced, so I was pretty close to counting it as specific variant. I just wasn’t sure if it has any specific difference gameplay wise that no other country would have, so I didn’t.

Yes. It seems Polish helicopters are not boring and less copy-paste
I would like to see them in the game.

But I can’t see a connection big enough to Polish becomes a sub-tree of Japan, Nothing more than the color of flags. (White and red)

Sorry, this suggestion sounds like you guys are planning to implement some Korean vehicles indirectly via Poland Sub-TT.
And, it also seems that Polish helicopters themselves are just being used as some kind of tool to achieve this.

honestly, i didn’t even think about that. no, this suggestion is not to add K2PL, K9PL and other korean vehicles to japan.
I am against adding Korea to Japan, and Poland to Germany as well.

Sorry if that sounded offensive.

I just… can’t see enough connection between Polish and Japan for adding Polish choppers to JPN TT.

Then I tried to guess, “Why polish then??” which failed miserably.
