No. Having good diplomatic ties is not enough to justify this, otherwise pretty much every European country could be lumped together as one tree. Ideally you would need to show that Japan or Poland used military technology from each other, cooperated on designs, have a history of joint military training exercises, etc.

Independent Polish Tech Tree would be better. The reason for Polish helis being in Japanese doesn’t make sense. You wanna add them simply because Poland and Japan have good relations.

I read it, but if you’re going to make a suggestion for Polish helicopters, then Poland as a whole would have to go under Japan which doesn’t make sense since there is no correlation between the two ground forces beyond good relations.

Don’t worry, this suggestion does not contradict the suggestion of an independent technology tree for Poland. In addition, ASEAN will add two Polish W-3UT and S-70i helicopters

Honestly, why not. If not for the looming ASEAN subtree, I feel like this would be a more viable option. The two nations have had pretty excellent relations throughout the century with little in the way of controversy, so it’s not nearly as bad as some other suggestions might be for a Japanese subtree. Not to mention, it would be a good way to give Poland a platform with the space Japan had and reduce the amount of clutter a collection of 4+ nations might invite. Unlike ASEAN, Poland also has a wide variety of options including an actual SAM with a built in radar. It’s certainly a bit odd, but not unwelcome.
Bait used to be believable.

ASEAN and Japan both have no such option, despite the abundance of other types. They also lack unique helis with atgms, aside from Apaches (likely due to the fact AA & Helis are some of the most expensive vehicles to field). Poland has more options for both. It may not be the most conventional, but considering how much people fight over what goes where in Asia, a more complete a constant friend doesn’t seem like such a bad pick.
Yeah but the connections with Japan and Poland are too weak to add it to Japan. Thailand must have something good to offer.

Honestly, the connection is about the same as Japan and say, Indonesia, which is another popular option. Poland & Japan did share intelligence against the soviets, which is more cooperation than can be said of some other nations. I agree that Thailand has a better connection but if we are including other options too I wouldn’t rule out Poland just because of geography.
By adding Poland you will also have to add Soviet stuff it used as well. You can’t just cherrypick the vehicles.
As one of my best friends is Polish, I heavily support the implementation of any Polish vehicle into the game. But IMO this is not the way. Polish heli in the Japanese tree? Perhaps a little sub-branch or goodie bag vehicle as part of the German tree, seeing as most Poles do not have a favourable opinion of Russia.

Thailand operates T-84s & BTR-3s. Indonesia has a major period where they exclusively operated Soviet equipment, including mig-15/17/21, even Tu-16. Hell, Malaysia literally operates a variant of the PT-91, a polish T-72 derivative. Redfor tech is likely going to end up in the tree regardless, I’d rather it be less of a complete mismatch of 6 armies.
I dunno man from what Gaijin said it seems to be that they want to add selected vehicles from Asian countries to Japan.
Independent Polish tree can work, but don’t get hopes up, I will probably be on a walking stick by the time they are implementing it.
