I’m not saying they’re too weak, I’m just explaining how every aircraft has it’s pros and cons and how you latching onto a single pro isn’t a great idea in a game where asymmetrical balancing exist.
this isnt a free kill, russia still has pantsir and su34 can carry r77 and r73s alongside the agms.
It is a free kill for any opposing fighter and cas planes.
AIM120 stomps SU34 all the way because nearly all have massive trees and irregular terrain that don’t let you multipath, and even if you do, they will always close the distance and get you with an smokeless AIM9M.
R77 is useless if your enemy has a working brain, it only hits if your enemy is not hugging the floor AND closer than 15Km, if you spaceclimb and stay further away that 12-15KM you will be untouchable for the SU34.
R73 are okaysh, but they do have smoke, are somewhat flarehungry if the enemy is not using afterburner… and… SU34 does not have helmet HMD, so it can only look target’s in front of it, and anyone that played SU34 knows it is a bus, non-ironically a PE-8 can win a dogfight against a SU34 in some circunstances.
SU34 can also get caught by spaas such as Flakrad and ItOP 90 just after spawning, or when searching targets for the ATGMs, it is perfectly balanced, the ATGMs are faster than competition, but competition can stomp SU34 and other opposing planes more easily thanks to superior radar/flight model/AIM120.
how can flarak and ito kill su34 right after spawning if they dont have the range XDDD
you will NEVER kill a su34 in time before it stomps 6 people from your team unless you were camping near its air spawn in which case you have to watch out for pantsir
and still I SHOULDNT BE FORCED TO USE A TOP TIER PLANE to play GROUND BATTLES
russia has no right having best CAS and best AA in the game and that best cas to not even be at the highest possible tier, IT CAN GET A DOWNTIER TO 11.7

or make insane CAS loadouts a reward for extremely high SP
that would be an acceptable solution, you can dunk 6 braindead kills with atgms only after you dominated the enemy team and not with just a simple 40 second rush

i mean yeah we can still keep ground rb that has CAS because yk getting kill with CAS suck for the recieving end but the sending end has satisfying kills
so ground only mode, but nuke cost 3000 sp instead of 2500 sp maybe?
one of the guy in my team got 1 cap and 1 kill and 2 assist, he spawned in his su-34 and got 12 kills(they dont got a chance)
if it cost like 1700sp to get a kh38 on your plane it wouldn’t be frequent and they would be sacrificing a nuke

currently CAS is too easy to obtain and too hard to counter
make it hard to obtain then
yk now that i have the roland 3, CAS isnt a huge problem anymore except theres 3 of them launching kh-29s at my ass
with roland 3 all you can do against su34 is try to intercept its atgms before it obliterates you and your team
but you wont do that with flarakrad because it takes ages to reload
i use m247 to intercept easier
like dude i bring m247 at top tier, i intercept all 6 su-34 missles

Then SM3 should get like 15 KHs or drop down to 11.3.
