pointless argument? AV-8B is transonic, has better radar, RWR and maneuverability, it’s not comparable to this sh*t.
and i’m not the one who decided to put a Harrier at 12.3 with just 4 AIM-9Ms like it’s possibly good there, just like AV-8B at 13.0 with 4 AMRAAMs and 2 AIM-9Ms.

are u actually a person or just a bot? why would an attacker be balanced for ARB if it’s designed for GRB? it’s like saying an AI controlled Abrams should be balanced at ARB even when it’s designed for GRB.
Why should attackers be inherently worse in air RB than fighters of the same BR?

u’re the less credible person i have ever talked to in the forums.
u want an attacker to get fighter capabilities to be “competent” in a gamemode it doesn’t belong just for the sake of “historical accuracy” and ruining others’ experience who are using (or not) the same aircraft.
the only thing i’m happy about is that Gaijin will never do what u’re asking for cuz they know what u don’t about how the change would effect this aircraft.
it does fine, it’s not designed for ARB, if u use it for ARB u’re out of mind, especially knowing it’s a premium aircraft, which means u aren’t forced to play ARB to unlock the modifications for good CAS weaponry to start using in GRB.
there’s no reason to adapt an aircraft for something it wasn’t designed.

Most ideal outcome imo.

Would you rather have, an strike platform that requires an escort because it can only use simple air to air weaponry.
OR
Would you rather have a strike platform that can also use more advanced air to air weaponry on it’s own, allowing for better self defense and less of a chance of losing the airframe in combat.

isn’t Su-25T pretty much a non-exported Su-39?
Su-25TM or Su-39 is a “modernized” Su-25T, additional systems, some improved over the last, new weaponry, etc.
so aren’t 2 R-73s and an exageratly survivable fuselage enough for u?
have u heard about Hawk 200 RDA? that’s a very good example about what the Su-39 would become at the end if it gets long-range missiles.
I’m more so talking about irl, since that’s what actually decides if something is made to do something.
Also calling Skyflashes “Long range missiles” is certainly an idea.
That’s it’s a purpose built dedicated ground attack aircraft and dose fine in that role, aside from the usual issues attackers face at all BRs such as having the ground targets concentrated in the middle of the fur ball, giving it better weapons will not make it much better in an air to air role due to it still being fat and slow but would certainly move it up in BR, possibly also in GRB.
So improving the Su-39s a2a load out would be rather pointless, better to fix the issues that make life difficult for strike aircraft in general.

it certainly has a “longer range” compared to the ugly AIM-9Ls it carries.
Su-39 is an exported attacker, it’s made to attack tanks, not aircrafts, u have Su-27 and MiG-29 to do that job. the fact something has something irl doesn’t mean it should get added:
Su-30SM2 missing R-74M and R-77M1, some american planes missing AIM-9X, Grom-1 for Su-34 (but it would probably get added for all russian planes cuz Gaijin loves to add weaponry to planes that never used it), etc.
i have said this like 3 times but they didn’t hear me, they still compare it with Harriers.

Anyways, we both know 74M/9X and Grom-1 aren’t in game because of balance.
hence why I advocate for a Su-25T"M" in the tech tree with R-27R/77.
and u think giving an attacker better A2A weapons would be “balance”?
