I unlocked my first top-tier jet of my second completer air tree, and I’m not impressed…
The things a brick; which is accurate to the airframe, but it feels lacking in the power department, maybe I haven’t taken the time to learn how to restrict it yet. But it’s not well performing where it is. I currently have a .5 KDR and it’s not making me happy with the plane.
It’s missing its HMS which has been the number one reason of me dying. Its pilots historically operate the HMS, and it really ruins the gameplay not being able to queue up IR missiles on incoming targets has lead to way too many deaths.
I understand at release this plane was 13.3, then bumped to 13.7 because all comparable aircraft were actually a close equivalent. But now the F-15C Golden Eagle, EF-2k, and Rafael bully everything. It needs to go back to 13.3 now that the higher BR doesn’t hold it’s equivalent.
Also, it may be a skill issue, but if you have something to say about me being a bad top tier player, Give me actual help and explanation instead of just saying ‘skill issue’
its a good plane for 13.7 with good radar, even dogfight if you knwo how to handle it.
use radar to lock target above your nose, i cant show you now i am away from the game.
also use the su34 for bomb base or even bvr as its good. i am a big su34 player i can give a lot of tips just not now.

It combines the Su-27 airframe with a super advanced radar system able to ID targets at 200km and all the weapons the Su-27SM gets with precision strike capabilities, while having better awareness and better engines.
If I was using the Su-24 it’s be a different story.
Thanks, keep me in mind when you get back to flying, because either this thing needs additional tech, a lower BR, or I need to tryhard like my life depends on it.
The SU-34 isn’t the best aircraft at 13.3 but you can still enjoy it regardless, I’d recommend bringing a full loadout of R-27ETs with couple R-77s as defence (for fun). I’d recommend playing the SU-30MK2 over the SU-34 but that’s only if you have it already, if not then ignore this recommendation.
I also don’t blame you if you’re struggling with the SU-34, the BR range can be quite hostile and especially in the uptiers, I usually avoid 13.3 as a whole as you’re just fodder for the 13.7+ aircraft you’re matched against - down tiers are a different story however.
I found a strategy that kinda works. For some reason it doesn’t sometimes to a dumb reason. I usually side climb to left or right depending on air spawn side, launch an R-77 at target, wait for their notch; and then throw out a R-27ET, but they can one flare it despite its IRCCM in close range.
