it may have the correct pylons, (but the missile is as real as the soviet unions communism actually being successful (it wasnt))
What if I have a picture of the su-34 carring the KH-38MT?
idk, all im aware of is its a mockup
or just make it limited to the su34 and thats it
So the missile isnโt fake?
well you said u have a photo of the su34 carrying it so going off that its safe to assume if it IS infact the 38MT then only the 1 plane that has it can carry
yes i agree with you on that or that atleast the Su-30 shouldnt have it,
i dont think the Kh-38 is too big of a problem on the Su-25
simply cause 2 planes of diff roles carrying said missile its a quick way to basically ruin an entire game.
get a few guaranteed kills oh u died? dw just spawn another and do the exact same thing
also thats a brochure, it could just be 2 mockups shoved onto the pylon and someone called it a day
well brochures are sadly one of the only sources of information for modern weapon systems
and if you remember, the thread that claimed it isnt real did so because it didnt appear in any brochures for a few years
i think that problem is going to be solved in the near future, when everyone has a new long range SAM
and after the community made a million bug reports about them
just did some looking around all i see was ME/MLโs none of which were MTโs including that image u showed me
the Brochure was first posted on chinese Twitter(?)
here is the link:
he posted the pages of the brochure that have to do with the Kh-38 and i think he made another post with that same brochure about the Kh-31
the ML has a bigger metal ring around the seeker than the MT and the seeker of the MT is slightly angeled downwards
and my theory for why CAS is so strong in game is the following:
Gaijin wants to keep CAS strong/ competitve so that ppl are forced to not only grind the ground tree but the air tree as well
This can be on quite the contrary as russia gets missiles that have alot of speed however nato missiles are still trailing behind with much slower ordinance compared to russian stuff. not to mention flat out equipment that aircraft/helicopters are meant to have are just outright not there
E.g. AGM-114L for longbow apaches (quite literally a hellfire made FOR them), maybe harms/shrikes. GCS-1 Type 1 and 2 for Japan. the list continues
in the end i think gaijin messed up with how they handeled the Kh-38
i think they added it sa that russia has an IR guided ATGM because they didnt had any until the KH-38
iam pretty sure that we get Anti radiation missiles pretty soon after the new SAMs
The wording on that is so worrying ahaha, โarmedโ typically means ready to fire, ergo mishandle it and it might go off haha. Probably a translation issue. โLive missiles delivered in packed wooden boxโ would be what Iโm expecting theyโre trying to sayโฆ unless they arenโtโฆ
they probably made it that way sot that they can just drop the crate with the missile out of a Heli or transport plane and use it as dumb bombs /s
transport vehicle aboutta get the ammo detonation message and sent to hangar
Problem with Kh-38MT is not that it exists. Itโs that it can track anything in perfect fire and forget modes.
The brochure I saw said for moving targets the Radar version or even the Laser guided version would be the prefered option. Which says to me that the IR seeker mode is for static targets (buildings parked up vehicles etc.)
I just dont believe the Kh-38MT can track a moving vehicle perfectly I dont believe the seeker has a wide enough FoV to do so and make the necessary corrections. The Hammer is the same itโs IR mode is not capable of doing what it does in game in the real world.
We have no images or video footage of either of these systems hitting a target moving at 70kph.
Brimstone, AGM-65 and AGM-114 have all demonstrated this.
So yes Kh-38MT
Russiaโs source: trust me bro
