Technically it was moreso an AIM-120 A-C buff and an AESA radar buff, but I’m going to justify it as minor nations advocating for buffs for everyone (since technically the AIM-120s affect almost every nation in the game)
There’s a reason why Gaijin has it so that we need to be “active” on the game to access the forums, and that’s so our voices cannot be heard unless we don’t boycott the game. We have leaked documents, we have given them official documents, but lately it has been more and more obvious they cater to Russia. If you asked me a year ago how I view Russian bias, I would’ve told you, “skill issue, they are the easiest tanks to defeat, and their planes are not that scary,” but now it has been harder to deny it. At least before, if I saw a Russian buff, I would be like, “okay, that makes sense, Russian tanks are designed to be strong from the front, this isn’t really game breaking,” but now every time I see anything that resembles a buff for Russia or a nerf for NATO, I’m not even shocked. I hate it.

I’ve already started my boycott, uninstalled the game, and I won’t be playing again until the Abrams gets proper hull armor. Even though I really wanted to play the M1A2 with APS. The last time I launched the game, it actually made me feel sick. Playing at the mid tiers used to help me enjoy the game despite everything, but now even that doesn’t help anymore.
Exactly! When I started playing I saw Russian Bias as selective examples of Russian tanks being better than their counterparts. Now I’m not 100% on board with the idea of “bias” but rather selective realism that works in Russia’s (and to an extent China’s) favor. It truly is beginning to show how far the snail will go to get money among other things. Also while Gaijjin only really “sponsors” the forums, I’m sure they look at Reddit,

That’s the thing too, I remember when I first started Ground (I preferred Air), I played Britain and never had an issue against Russia (granted, I never paid attention to the community so “Russian bias” never affected me). Funny enough, it was the German tanks I had issues with. It wasn’t until I made a friend (in game) and he introduced me to Russia that I began playing it. I absolutely hated it, and I would go on Facebook groups and be like, “yo, when do I get to experience Russian bias,” and they could never keep their answers straight, “when you get the T-34,” “KV-2 is OP,” and so on. Plus, Germany was just brain-dead easy, like I was a terrible Ground player, and I was going positive and topping leaderboards just by existing.
It wasn’t until a year or two later I got a group of friends set up in War Thunder, one of which was a Russian main. We would 1v1 all the time, and I continued to never see the bias. Could’ve been that he was bad, but still. Russian tanks and planes were never scary to me. Like oh no! I just gotta aim a little lower to hit the lower front plate! So difficult to understand! Dog fighting was stupidly simple (granted I played Swedish air, so Grippen with unlimited flares vs the most flareable missiles was a no contest). No matter what we did (1v1s, 2v2s, a certain style where we went from low tier to top tier vehicles every death, etc.), Russian vehicles were never scary.
When the Kh-38s came about, I will be honest, I celebrated, because I was sick of American CAS doing orbital strikes from bloody Jupiter. Then it got tiring, but I justified it as, “well American CAS was more oppressive for a lot longer,” like it was Animal Farm. Then came the LIMURs, the BMPT, and it just kept piling up. Now I don’t know what to do. I love this game, but I cannot keep justifying the way Gaijin runs this game. It honestly feels like the only thing I love about this game is just doing Customs with my friends, and while we do funny things, I don’t know. Maybe I’m burnt out, maybe I’m just done with the politics, I just don’t know anymore. I only play at this point just so I can try and influence Gaijin to stop their stupidity.
