If the Abrams were Russian, its lower front plate would have 800 mm of armor, and the turret ring would have 300 mm of armor.
They denied it because it was a proposed upgrade that hasnt been implemented after its development and that we cant prove to have been implemented on SepV3.
The real SEPv3 relies on its Under-Armor APU—which is just a small, built-in generator that powers the electronics while the main engine is completely turned off—alongside modern spall and NBC protection. Yet, Gaijin leaves all of it out. At this point, they are likely not adding these features now, or anytime in the future
side era would do 200mm of kinetic aswell lmao
yeah 6 to 7 sec reload is so big. such a game changer that makes Abrams fear
Systematic and large-scale modernization of the armored frontal part (LFP) of the Abrams tank was carried out within the framework of the M1A2 SEPv3 (M1A2C) program through the implementation of the ECP 1A engineering change package.
The modification of the M1A2 SEPv2 is not a small-scale redesign of the armor packages of the NLD hull; It has a frontal protection that meets the standards of previous modifications and sacrifices its structure to the new NGAP/NEA packages.
New composite package NGAP (NEA), tested in 2015-2016, providing a significant increase in the resistance of the frontal projection of the hull against current kinetic and cumulative threats, increasing the equivalent of protection NLD up to indications is over 510–600 mm KE (and at maximum estimates - up to 960 mm RHAe with kuta nahilu adjustments).
The availability of depleted uranium in the packages of the American version of SEPv3 is confirmed by changes to the NRC license SUB-1536 (moving to the unrelated wiki “As Needed”), as well as by the official department Australia uses standard uranium chassis for the development of a special environmentally friendly package of protection.
yeah and no other autoloader in the game gets the perfect reload russian autoloaders do, for example the type 90 instead of the 2-3 second range condition fire rate, they get 4, the m1128 stryker, instead of the 5s autoloader, they get the 7.5s reload, same with leclercs etc. its literally only russia who gets their autoloaders function as fast as they physcially can in literal perfect conditions.
what source is this?
yeah, but we have pretty good idea that it was a nea (du armour package) in the hull, so it would be quite a bit less than it should, and its better than nothing to go off, and it gives then some numbers to work with, because we have literally zero when it comes to NEA improvements, even tho they somehow know how to improve the turret.
so you complain about having best reloads in game in Abrams/Leclerc/Type10. while Russian “perfect conditions” didn’t bring these or Chinese tanks to any best position in game. and these people are complaining about biases
because you were crying that the perfect russian reloads took years to be implemented? i literally never argued bias lol.
yeah, because it was answer to “immediate implementation of russian docs” where as we have two proofs that gajub doesn’t care if doc is russian or not and can implement or deny changes according to their view on whom they want to milk next time in game. but forum engineers believe in some realismus argumentus
i think the fact it was even changed kinda proves you wrong lol
Type 90’s autoloader speed depends on the gun angle, if the gun is already lined up perfectly, it can reload in under 3 seconds, though it can take up to 5 seconds if the gun has to reset from a steep angle. On average, it reloads in about 3.5 to 4 seconds. Getting reload anything lesser than 4 sec would be devastating i guess
anyways im done arguing with someone who only argues in bad faith and constantly tries to shift the conversation
yeah but thats the same with all autoloaders is my point
Did the Abrams only get an APU with the SEPv3?
sure, cope
Spall liner and NBC too
Bustle autoloaders are fast, but their main limit is a small ready-rack capacity (only 18 rounds on the Type 90). It is not like other autoloaders Soviet hull-carousel systems store their ammo low in the tank ( that we know) and hold up to 22 or 28 rounds ready to fire. Furthermore, carousel spins on a flat floor, its loading cycle doesn’t depend on the gun’s vertical angle or position anywhere near as much as a bustle system does
