If you (not as in you you, but as in Gaijin) are planning to implement a vehicle and the way you are implementing it is the equivalent of 1 + 1 = 3, I do expect some common sense from them and say “hold up, this isn’t adding up”.
If they are just going ahead with their plan to make the SEPv3 a worse vehicle than the SEPv1, and arguably the worst 12.7 Abrams overall, maybe one of the devs should show some common sense and decide to just not add the SEPv3 at all if they don’t have the required data to make an accurate depiction of it (seeing as even their implementation of the SEPv3s turret is already pure fantasy).
2A7V armor implementation, BMPTs bluetooth ammo belt, SEPv3 hull armor implementation, SEPv3 turret implementation, Merkava Mk.4s, Namers and the list goes on and on.

I am not sure if you see it but the majority of these people are drones who do not care for another nations success and would like for specific nations to only have advantages over them. The reason they are adding the SepV3 or M1A2C is so that they will not have to add it later with its proper armor values once enough is learned about the vehicle. Obviously they want people to also leak secret documents but no idiots are going to this time.
Gaijin likes to play these mental games and NEARLY every single one of you in this section who is AGAINST the M1A2C or FOR the M1A2C do not see it. They are digging into each and every single one of your minds and planting a seed. You all are far too gullible and easily manipulated which concerns me when you all decide to start your own families. Wake up and watch their actions, pay attention to what Gaijin says and DOES not say. I have dealt with master manipulators, liars and scum for nearly a decade, everything this company has been doing fits into those categories.

Based on some guesstimations and napkin math, the cheek area is around 2.7m^2. A steel plate that big and 150mm thick is around 3 tons. I wouldn’t call it far fetched to estimate the plate weighs somewhere between 2.3-3t

There’s clearly more than enough information to make better assumptions about all of the Abrams.
What’s also clear is that Gaijin does everything they can to ignore that information, while creating imaginary information as a pretext to buff Soviet tanks. The unwarranted dev server buffs to relikt (chemical protection increasing 100m and the modifier for kinetic resistant going from +170% to 225%) coming in the same patch as the M829A3 round (that would have countered it) are recent evidence of that.
I have no doubt they will privately mald, grit their teeth and ignore the obvious hypocrisy and hope they can churn out more AI slop for the whales, to compensate. That’s Russia’s main battleground these days: the internet, and the delusional power of imagination.

I am being so serious, companies in 2026 do not have the best of interests towards their communities. We already know that they have been stealing data through a system scanner within their coding and A.C.
Russia also receives the short end of the stick sometimes but its the one nation that has benefitted the most.

That is actually some of the napkin math I have been looking into for a little bit (I just couldn’t find the dimensions of the Abrams turret cheek).
That explains quite a bit, although the 150mm in general are super sketchy. Jackvony posted pictures earlier in another thread of the top of the SEPv3 turret and there were no physical marks of any external armor plates being mounted/welded/placed onto it.

afaik cope cages were called that because they got mounted on tanks before drones were really a thing, but javelins delivered to ukr were all the hotness.

Its totally not like the whole design purpose of M829A3 is to counter K-5 era also the 3rd picture literally means nothing since the major weak spot of the t-80bvm is the top of the turret these pictures you sent mean nothing

You’re saying the turret roof of the BVM is not a weakspot? The place through which you can kill it with a CV9040 without much trouble is not a weakspot?
