Su-27 is not an exception lmfao. it’s rule for entire game that devs might monitor their own statistics (or you stumble into bad techmod) to implement or deny reports. also if 38 gets only laser, that doesn’t make it easier for natoids and won’t make them complain less, while having loads of decent weaponry on Typhoons and F-15Es for example. speed and warhead of this missile are what actually makes it scary and seeker won’t change that.
It’s not about realism for Gaijin. It’s about keeping up the illusion that they care about realism.

against SPAAs- tonns of GABOOs, 39 specifically, that can be launched at insane angles at very close distances (side aspect at like 3 km). against tanks- laser and ir bombs like Spice. though Typhoon with it’s stupidest flight model, can allow to launch even Brimstones.

You know this is nonsense and has been proven by the manufacturer. The missile is GNSS it only has an IR terminal seeker like the Stormshadow it does not lock using the IR seeker. Gaijin have skewed what this thing is and what this thing does in real life to prop up Russia

Its GNSS is it’s fire mode it should not have IR which means the missile should not exist how it is in game.
HAMMER is similar however it does operate the IR seeker later in the flight envelope than the Kh-38.
Kh-38 destroys the game even now in top tier they take over no SAM can deal with them.

With the buff it’s basically going to stop all spallong because the rounds are basically going to barely pen anyways…, peak balancing
