The standards to revise M1A2 SEPv3's armor NEED to be revised and calibrated

Yeah it seems pretty redundant for an APFSDS round to need targeting data directly fed into it unless it served other purposes as well.

Same here really don’t know what else it could be. Not sure how else you could make an APFSDS defend against an APS system.

the relikt buff was an easy to understand fix.
relikt has two plates. only the front one worked. just add the back one. done.

very different from trying to learn the effectiveness of an armor composition basically no one (and if they claim they do its larp and they need to be ashamed of themselves) knows exactly

honestly i feel theyll just make up some arbitrary number and make it so hitting the fuel tank armor will eat the shell but just hitting the driver will let it through (for 3BM60 and alike)

Didn’t they replace much of the old wiring with fiber optic cables reducing the weight by a substantial amount? This should also factor into the increased hull weight from the denser composite hull setup putting more validity in the increased weight from the armor increase.

there is also other known weight reduction programs

but of course gaijin ignores all of that

another good example is switching to electric turret drive saves a lot of weight in the hull, but of course they cant be bothered to factor that it

yeah it seems like they are being maliciously ignorant of all the weight saving factors the Sep 3 introduced when they compare the extra weight to the previous iterations. First they tried to claim it was all in the turret but their new cope is even worse than the turret claim. Just tell the community to go fuck themselves at this point, they want the Abrams to suck on purpose.

It doesn’t “suck” but the fact that the T90 and T80 tanks are considered more armored in comparison is laughable.

Ou, I never said the it was designed to counter Relikt :p

Also, out of the 999999 bug reports, they chose to buff Relikt and I don’t even think that was reported or even a huge issue

Yes, they saved around 2 tons I believe glad someone’s said something about it. I could be wrong tho

Not malachite, but monolith*

That’s the only logical explanation actually. Through power of deduction there’s only 1 logical reason an apfsds with sacrificial tip round would use datalink.

Thank you for the correction

Imagine expecting gaijin to give a damn about something which is extremely important to realism.

Relict is so OP now that if I put one on, I could probably stop a tank round with my chest. 💀

Not a correction just adding to your point tbh. But no problem.

Yooo they finally added electronic modules to a T-Series tank!! (just so happens to be the t-series tank that isnt russian)
