so im a pro player fr getting e sports ready in ARB when i get a eurofighter RWR ping. my radar dosent find literally anything when according to my RWR he should be literally infront of my noggin. and he was further than 15km out so i couldnt visually spot him etiher. then he still got like 5km away from me without me notcing cause of my suck ah radar and i died. does this happen to other people or am i js buns? but i dont think im buns judging off of my like 3.20 KD in the SM2

If you’re a pro player, you would play other planes and realize its not just the SM2. Yerr?

Gaijin seems to have zero interest in fixing the N035; the radar locks onto chaff even at high altitudes with the fighter coming towards me or running in a position outside the notch, like a non Pulse Dopple radar. I mean, even my MiG-21S R13 300 filters chaff better, and even in a notch, a modern radar like that would never lose its lock-on like that even in notch.

but yes the n035 is dogshit rn.
fails 100% of time time trying to maintain a lock. always locks onto the nearest missile in both track and tws (which takes the DL for whatever missile you have out there with it)
i genuinely had a better time with the MLD’s radar
meanwhile gaijin will keep saying “yes we improved the logic”

exactly bro it picks up literal geese in the sky instead of actual targets if it can even detect it. I’ve died so many times beacuse of this problem gaijin better fix it in the next bug patch

this radar is so well configured
anyways i once more have the patience to actually do something about this so any clips of this garbage radar not working are very welcome
fix for now: dont keep the cursor on the enemy youre firing at. not sure why but this so far has made it so it at least doesnt switch to a missile after firing if youre using the r77
i just started playing the sm2 and is it normal that the radar is just changing the lock to the missile my target just fired or takes every chaff that always happens if i try to r27er someone

im also 60% sure this radar should be able to hold STT locks on u0p to 2 or 4 targets. meaning guidance for 4 27ERs but if they cant even get one to work i dont want to see 4
yeah the radar has some problems with that it works better with a mig 29 no joke
It’s been like this since it was launched, it’s simply incredibly annoying. Seriously, Gaijin probably knows this is happening. Even if the target is outside the notch, it releases chaff and your radar locks onto it, even if the target was in the notch. We’re talking about a very modern radar; the Bars radar on the Su-30SM is working better than the N035. And if you try BVR or firing in a location with many targets, good luck trying to provide DataLink for your missiles; they’ll either lock onto enemy missiles or fly straight to Narnia.
ngl i think i had a better time with the captor m when it was broken on release
guess we just need to wait for the weekend to end and see if they do something next week. ill make a bug report either way so if anyone has some clips of their stuff breaking, pm them to me
