New maps are larger.
There have been 5+ modes since 2015 despite having every PVP mode in gaming, and AI preventing new PVE modes from being made, and cost of spawns are correct.
Yeah, F-16C has been unkillable in ground RB with OP AGMs but Gaijin’s finally working on new SPAA.
Ground is soon going to be almost as bad as Air, where it’s actually really hard to make it even more dumb. This is especially true higher up you go.
I don’t even play top tier anymore, with helis and planes that can shoot from the far side of the moon, i am out. I have been constantly searching thru the BRs to find a good balance of game play and fun. I have currently landed in the 6.0ish range USA and 7.7 in Germany. So tired of the grind I quit trying to open other countries!
(Before anyone says I know it might not be 5 days that’s just an example.)
Yeaaa, I get grinding but when they keep adding more in and increasing previous ones higher it starts to get tedious for instance I was going for the HMS Hood and was halfway through when they added an update in which completely fucked me as its 390,000 and I had a certain amount of days to get it(Not gonna lie the fact they do that where you have say 5 days to grind 390,000!!! research points sounds like how they do those deals of “Buy now before there gone!!” like a scare tactic sorta thing if that makes sense) anyway after that update I just gave up on ships tbh as each time I got close they kept adding more bull in between me and the actual ship so now I have the queen mary and the repulse to research AND PURCHASE!!! before I can even purchase the HMS Hood… so even if I do finish the research Im still gonna have 610,000 research points to get the 2 previous ships and that’s only if they don’t add more ships on to that as if they do that’s gonna be another at least 390,000 guaranteed. My personal opinion, If someone has started researching something especially at top tier and they have the pre-requisites let them but/finish the research on that vehicle, No Timer of “You have so and so amount of days to finish this before you HAVE to do these new ships” as Im sure even gaijin know with the allotted time they give you to do that doing 390,000-400,000 in that amount of specified days is just 1. Unhealthy 2. IMO Un-doable
1 more thing I wanna add is yes they have a different mode for naval which is the EC one before anyone says buuuuttt as the picture below shows it’s not there you only have the 2 modes in which you fire on each other’s spawn so if you did want to play ships and actually be strategic and not fire on each others spawn you cant even that us unless EC Naval comes round.
they are excellent making vehicles and such, and it could be an absolut beast of a game.
But their sucky BR system combined with a lot of sucky maps is rough on the playerbase.
It’s still the best of it’s kind, but it could be so much more, if Gaijin could be arsed to make some real QOL stuff instead of winging it and keep churning vehicles out.
So out of curiosity map-wise do people like the rotation of maps etc or do you think giving things like Vadact does in his events such as the Gulf War one a chance?? Even if its like events that come round now and then like YouTubers like Vadact do below??

Do you really think the day will come when WW2 (what actually is WW2 now in this game ? ) tanks play on WW2 maps and 80s or Modern tanks will play on separate maps in a modern era? No way,the engine is what it is and will never change. Gaijin will never make such radical changes.
Only thing you will get is silly maps in daft comedy location to suit the new mood of the silly game.Like we all used to joke, A Disney map or Manga themed monstrosity ,now cue the legion of clowns telling us they would actually love to see that : )
Silly mixed era vehicles,on silly mixed era maps, Marder and Maus together in Sun City, Enjoy your realism : )
But they dont neccecarely need to spend that much time creating tons?? Youtubers like Vadact I watch did missions on the maps that are in-game now just more like this for more modern day stuff and people seemed to love the YouTubers doing events and stuff like this.
Dont get me wrong they do events but a lot of the time on certain special days which is nice of them to but then they’re gone really and you gotta wait till you don’t know when to get something like that again, kind of like Naval sim
They don’t do it because they don’t want to.One thing we need to learn is that Gaijin will never model the game on your image or mine.The day disgruntled players realise that is the day they leave the game.
You have a choice : stop caring and just play or worry about it, be unhappy and walk.
There is no third choice of thinking the game will become something it is not.If you like this game then you come to the mountain ,the mountain will never come to you.
The only time this game moved a little on something was when it got hammered big time in the press by the player base.If you are prepared to keep doing that then fine,if not then expect the same ol same ol.
Dont forget that so many are happy to shoot and scoot and not give a damn about silly maps,silly mechanics and zero immersion.Kids today live in a world of undeveloped unfinished rubbish ,they will pay $60 dollars for nothing real and gladly defend garbage to the death.
If anything WT seem to be stepping away from real war maps in a woke like manner as if war is too brutal for its little darlings.You will be firing marshmallows at each other soon : )
